I beat you by 5lbs man. Lots of weight gainer, food, and water in one day. The next day it was all gone. Its all part of learning. It was very unnecessary!
Hell look at boxers after weigh ins they usually balloon up about 10+ lbs. In Jay Cutlers one video I think he said he lost 10lbs over a weekend that he was away doing shows and was just goin to eat about 6000 cal to put it back on.

after doing quiet a few shows and mates who do them also i have come to no this one bloke who basically over night post show put on 15kg. 2 days after the show he came back into the ghym and it looked like he did before dieting. his excuse....'man, i bought some ice cream and chocolate and i just couldnt stop' hahaha
