Is there a less potent AI than Anastrozole I can get from Maxmius?

Anastrozole seems to be too strong of an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) for me. I am still gonna try it for a little while since I have been on it so long.

Is there a less potent Aromatase inhibitor (AI) than Anastrozole? It has to be from Maximus HRT?

sorry if this is dumb still learning, how can you tell if it's too strong? did you get bloodwork done and numbers were really low or are you getting sides? if so, what are you experiencing that told you it was the AI?

thanks

You can get an inexpensive pill cutter and cut them in quarters. (Which my old doc had me do....but I have the opposite problem in that I have to take a lot of it, so that doc is history.)

No such thing as dumb questions. When I first started testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) I would always feel foggy, get very tired by afternoon, have no libido and get joint pains working out but I never got blood work done and thought I had high estrogen levels so to cure the problem I took even more Adex and it just kept getting worse. Well after getting blood work done cheap from privatemdlabs.com, I found out that I was crashing my estrogen. Unfortunatley, no real way to tell if it is too low or too high besides getting blood work done. Now if you are having joint pains, there are higher chances that you have crashed your estrogen. How I can tell the Adex is too strong for me is because I've been taking half the pill every 3.5 days and my e2 still came in at 16 which is still some what low for me so I am going to try half the pill e5d and see what happens. If even that is too strong for me (hopefully it wont be) than I will have to either break it in small quarter pieces or consider a less potent Aromatase inhibitor (AI) if there is one out there. Hope this helps!!

yes that helped, thanks alot. how long did you wait to get your blood test done even after you started feeling that way? i've been told to get them done at 6 weeks or 9 weeks even,I I'm going to go for 6 want to try to get dialed in as quickly as possible but, i'm thinking if i'm feeling off in the beginning it could just be my body adjusting so maybe i shouldn't run out and get tests done so quickly and wait a certain period of time?

Frustrated. Do atleast every 6 weeks. The reason I say this is because Steve at Maximus had told me that you need to stay on a protocol for at least 3 weeks to see if it really works for you. And I have noticed when I got tests done every couple weeks, I would keep changing my protocol which is not good. You may be tempted to get them done more often to get dialed in quickly but that is not good because then you mind plays tricks on you to keep changing your protocol and it takes you even longer. I am learning this lesson after so many months of TRT.
