Guys, just got back from a workshop on general fitness, covering exercise as well as nutrition. It was held by a guy with a doctorate in biology. The guy claimed it was possible to combine a simple carb food with some form of fiber such as metamucil or some other pure fiber and so turn it in to a "healthy" glycemic index food. If this is true (?), we would not have to worry about eating white rice, pasta anymore since we could just pop a few fiber-tabs with each meal???
