Just bought a nutribullet... Looking for fav recipes

I am banned!
Are these whole food blenders all that and a bag of chips? Couldn't afford a vitamix, but I'm intrigued with the promises of the concept.
I'm also looking for favorite recipes for green smoothies and protein shakes
 
My favorite shake was 4 scoops of protein powder, 24 oz of almond milk, 2tbsp peanut butter, half cup uncut oats, half cup frozen strawberries, 1tbsp macadamia nut oil, and two whole eggs.

I think it came out to something like 960 calories with 120g protein, 80g of carbs, and 28g of fat. Kept my tummy full and was full of nutrients.
 
I was thinking about quick oats, being easier to pulverize. Did u mean steel cut oats?

I'd have to pare that down to my portion, beings how your a modern day Goliath !! Lol

Great for protein mixes with oats etc - and also great fior mixing greens...

Don't make the mistake I made though, I started whizzing up all sorts of fresh fruit smoothies and wondered a month later why I'd gained a shit load of fat.

Fruit is FULL of natural sugars!!!
 
my all time favorite shake ever..

25 protein whey isolate.. chocolate flavor

1 tablespoon peanut butter or peanut butter oil

1 cup nonfat plain greek yogurt

1 cup frozen blueberries

1 cup frozen strawberries

damn i miss having this shake.. i think ill incorporate it again

I stock all those ingredients in my fridge/pantry. If it's preworkout I'll add some mct oil, post w/out add some oats for recovery.
While not quite as good as s vitamix it will break open the seeds of berries and flax seeds etc. I watched some YouTube videos about not using flax meal in foods as once the seed is busted open thd oxygen hits it and it's not as nutritious days later. Better to throw in s TB of flax seeds and let the machines blades bust em up then consume them right away
 
You might want to go half and half with your seeds buddy...

Grind half of them in a blender for their nutrients and oils
Use the other half whole as fibre ;)
 
This might not be what your looking for but for an awesome
Pancake batter to make some protien packed pancakes
1 cup cottage cheese
1 cup egg white (or whole eggs)
1 cup of oats
1.5 scoops of protien
And if the batter comes out to think add milk or if to thin add protien powder
Cook them in a skillet just like pancakes and enjoy. I like bananas and PB on mine :insane2:
 
Careful with the flax seeds, little bastards can be pretty overpowering in taste. Very good point Ben, I can't enjoy my strawberries anymore even though they're lower in fructose than the others.

Cilantro
Little bit of pico degallo(sp?)
Dash of salt

Like test/ pineapple is the base to all my smoothies first one always start with pineapple and banana just too see how you react and if you get sides it's pretty easy to figure out where they come from.

More advanced you get you can start adding other goodies. I've been smoothing a solid year don't do this it's what I do and it came with experience.

Mixed berries
2 bananas
Flax seeds
Chia seeds
1 tbsp Spurilina
Frozen yogurt your choice
Splash of dole juice
NEVER START THIS BIG THIS IS ADVANCED SMOOTHING!
