Got any Ice Cream?
Hey dude, the lack of sex drive might be due to stress and depression, but antidepressants dont help any in the bone dept.

So mebbe you can use the anti-d's to help work out your head... but dont be suprised if the plumbing is still a lil slow when you are on the anti-d's

bro, honestly thats good new & all the #'s look good to me. dude, this can all be mental thing...stop thinking about your problems and find yourself a nice looking chick and go from there.
IMO, you don't need anti depressant, just go out to a bar or club have yourself a few drinks and then pick on some ho's. thats all I could think of

I know my girl uses anti d's and the understanding is that sex drive (in women at least) goes down...but hers didn't at all. Although I think it differs with the person. I'm sure that's not what you wanted to hear. Sorry, wish I could be more clear. But like FEEDD said, work on the mental aspect right now. Since that seems to be what affects EVERYTHING, or at least so I've noticed.

Also aren't there anti depressants that don't screw with your sex drive?

Here's my experience:

Zoloft: Delays ejaculation like no other. You could fuck for hours.

Wellbutrin: No sexual side effects at all.

Paxil: Could possibly have an effect on arousal.

Prozac: Decreased my sex drive considerably.

I heard that about wellbutrin.. but I have taken antidepressents and had sex before too.. I mean, you still can.. but it just takes a lil longer to come,..you are more "chubby" than hard, and orgasms arent as intense..

but then again.. once your brain chemistry returns to normal, and you "snap out of it" .. everything is cool again, u know?

THe anti-d's IMHO, just help you "snap out of it" faster.

Bro b4 you tri anti-dipressants plzzzzzz try this stuff called 5htp

i can garantee it will get rid of alot of your depression....and will have no side at all....

do a little search on it threw google.... might be the best 5 minits of research you ever did....

The Clomid can fuck with your mind big time. Wait a few weeks if you can.

5-HTP is the pre-cursor chemical to Serotonin. Serotonin is the brain chemical that most Anti-D's work on. Def try it before going to the real stuff.

Paxil fucked with my ability to orgasm. I was off of it for 3 weeks before I was able to cum. Use it as a last resort.

Dude, isn't that the worst feeling? I hated that, I switched to Wellbutrin and everything was decent again.

I would take a week off, drink lots of water, start some creatine and focus. A trick I do when I am feeling weak is I change up all my lifts to things I never do, that way you have no memory of how much weight you can do on that lift and you also start making gains on those lifts since you never do them.

Excessive Testsoterone levels (super-saturated androgen receptors)can cause depression and impotence--among other things. If you can get your levels back into the high-normal zone, you will probably feel better. It is important to have all of your hormones in the normal range. Your receptors need a rest.

Shit, woman wanna marry and shit after a single session while on Paxil!!! LOL It is the greatest feeling when you get one out though!

I know when I took Clomid, I was almost bi-polar! Happy one second and wanna cry the next. Since you are off it now, I think you ought to be good to go. Just like others said, "mental",,, your mind will only let your body do what "you" let it. You know?

I certainly concur with DrJMW's sage advice. Also, you should have your prolactin levels checked as well as estrogen and cortisol. Prolactin can supress sexual function even when all other hormones are in good balance.

Also, please remember that human sexuality is a VERY complicated subject. It is MUCH, MUCH more than simple hormone levels. Those who "supplement" their hormones sometimes forget the emotional aspects of sexual function which are, IMPO, just as important.

Also, the decision regarding a possible diagnosis of clinical depression will be made with, and by, your physician. So will possible pharmacological interventions.

In your opinion what would be the ideal number for estrogen to be at. If normal is 40 - 115 than what should I shoot to get mine at, ballpark anyways?

I don't know if this holds true, but I thought I had read somewhere that the "optimum" estrogen level would be 10% of your test level.
