I just started testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) and took my first 5 ml injection 3 days ago and it seems like my libido has increased a little. It seems like it is too soon to notice a difference, is this just in my head? Also, when they were givig me my test prescription I saw them pull it out of a refrigerator and I asked if I was supposed to keep it in there and they told me yes. But on the prescription bottle it has a sticker that says "do not refrigerate". So should I or should I not keep it in the refrigerator?

What kind of test were you prescribed? If it was test cypionate you should store it at room temperature. If you have any lingering doubts, consult with your pharmacist.

As for libido, it is probably psychological, but there is nothing wrong with that. You still feel better, right? It usually takes 2-3 weeks before you start feeling the effects of the injections, but it sometimes can take longer.

I felt an initial rush in libido after my first injection as well - mental or not - enjoyed it! I don't refrigerate my test cyp - keep in a fire safe in the basement which is cool but not cold. As mentioned above it takes a few weeks for the test to build up in your system then you will have the great feelings all the time.

The libido may not be psychological and prolly is increasing. I noticed a quick increase in libido during my first week of test (cycle not trt). Do they have you on an ai?

Also, testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) is definitely an interesting topic. I've been reading a lot about it lately. It can really increase your red blood cell count so you may want to talk to your dr and keep an eye on that. If it gets too high, your dr may take you off testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for a certain period of time, or you may have to donate blood.

You got good advice thus far. To agree, definitely don't refrigerate your test. Oh, and you most likely took 1-2 mls, not 5mls but we get the idea. Hopefully you continue to feel better.

keep at room temp. Good luck with everything. Do what the doctor says and be sure to get blood test frequently to see what is going. Read this site for information as it is very useful and a lot of wise people on here. You can sort of match up what others are doing to what your doc is doing and if your doc is doing the wrong thing get a new doc. I would never start experimenting on your own, unless you did heavy research. With this site also take everything with a grain of salt. I have learned a lot on here most of of useful and true, but there also a lot of whacked out info to be careful of. And take in mind what I do might not work for you and vice versa.
