You people are too normal for a wacko like me!! I just had to say this. I been reading alot of the posts and some of the advise to wonderwomen and I got to say this is probably one of the most normal bunch of people I have read !! I mean I have lost all reality and grip on this and this give me total prespective!!!

I have lately cleared the weightlifting room of people on Saturday morning (well there were only 5 middle aged men or older) but I cleared the room. I picked up the barbell and had 80 lb shoulder presses and they all left!

Today, remember I broke my back . Well I decide to do pull ups and totally pissed my trainer off and strap on the weightlifting belt with 25 lbs. She is yelling you broke your back Marilyn get a grip. I cant stop. I just think more more more more more.

So now that I have completely lost it, its nice to come here and see normal people!!!
I am strong but also dangerous and tend to set myself up for injury. Just venting and tell you people that you are all very healthy. I am working on it!!!

There is nothing wrong with being intense. But I have also had back problems and know that there is a difference between intense training and smart training, the injury isnt worth it to me.

I think you should not loose sight of the fact that you have come a long way in your life and in your sobriety. That should be celebrated. :)

Can you post some pic and stats.

well I am so bad with this digital camera , you can go to Facebook, put in the old bag , opps I mean Marilyn Carrock and see some pictures. Please note I am 44 and could be your MOM!! I just put up a shoulder picture. I have along way to go but getting there. I am about 2 and 1/2 years consistent now without breaking a bone. I have broken 4 bones some multiple places. Steel rods in right leg too! However the back was weightlifting, the leg was being high/stoned.

Go to facebook but I am no great thing to look at. Its my personality that counts right??? Ha!

5 4 inches and now at 130. Started at 155 so getting down and getting a nice foundation. I am strong as hell! That is the one thing I got going for me. ohh and crazy/fearless.

Just wanted to add how free I feel here! I feel like I can be free and open. Its nice. Its rare. Its like therapy!!!!!! Who would have thought with a name like steriodolgy this would turn out to be the most sane bunch of people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Marilyn.....train smart. Heavy is not better. Perfect form is a must for maximum gains.

Be as open as you want btw. It's more fun that way.

You can't beat a good "FORM!" Weight...it ain't nothing but numbers! I'm 175lbs, and if you took a look at me, you would never figure out I can bench 315lbs. And, yeah, that was irrelevant, but I just wanted to say it! LOL But I always keep my form!

You look great! And at 44. No your not old enough to be mom. Keep up the good work! But try not to brake anything. Give yourself more credit your great to look at!

thanks all!! Feeling so upbeat lately, its the warm weather! Well someone smart told me there is a difference between weightlifting and bodybuilding! I get it, but too be honest I cant help it. I just really love the heavy stuff. It does something for my brain. Just wanted to tell you all how much I love reading this forum! You people are the smartest! Train on everyone! Will hit you all up when I have the next problem.
