Keeping Balance On Single-Leg Squats

TriniJuice

I am banned!
i like the way this exercise isolates both legs, but im having trouble holding my balance during sets....im not doing heavy weights with these yet as im still working on my form (doing about 8-12reps), i was wondering should i just drop the weights and focus on form/balance or just keep the weights im using and concentrate harder on keeping balance (this is the option im currently doing)....

Why would you waste valuable training time doing single leg squats when it could be better spent doing normal weighted back squats?

i do both, squats 1st than i isolate em (S/L kicks azz)

Sorry I didn't mean to come off harsh if I did. I just don't see the point when normal squats are as close to perfect an exercise as you can get. Maybe someone else who has experience with them can chime in.

itz cool man, just saying s/L squats are a good exercise, im limited to leg exercises cuz my gym is my home....if that makes sense haaaha

Squats, dead lifts, power cleans and snatches will add volume to leg work, RDL, SLDL, lunges, good mornings, hypersextensions, prowler or push/pull sled.
