Can you eat eggs and or can you take protein supplements on Keto diet.
i know you have to keep your carbs intake 15grams or lower so it wouldn be wrong???

Keto is about carb and fat manipulation. Eggs are high in fat, which is where you'd get your energy from when doing low carb.

Protein supplements need to be protein only, some contain high carbs. A pure Whey isolate supplement would be ideal.

And if you're using a lot of protein powder don't forget to get some extra fat in there. If you look at the macros of the other stuff you're eating it's probably easier to not use protein powder.

Eggs and fatty meats are pretty close to the right ratios, if you add in pure protein you're going to have to eat some fatty fat fat to get back in balance. If keto isn't doing what it should for me it's always because I need to add more fat.

Handy keto tip for lazy cutters: protein and fat should be about equal *by mass*. Easy to eyeball how much butter you need to put on a ribeye if you keep that in mind.

Keto is great, eat steaks with bernaise and still loose fat. I also recommend you read up about intermittent fasting.

But one important thing to remember is that you need the healthy fats to be a big part of the keto diet, not just eggs and bacon!

Yeah i did read it while looking for keto. i am on it right. i want to try it as part of my last days of training

As far as i understood eggs are goods for keto? Am i right? And one question about eggs. Doesn't yolk contains the main fats of the eggs? And excluding bug quantity of yolk will help to avoid additional fats. Is it so?

Eggs are a common keto food but don't have to be if you are allergic to them or don't like them. Yes the yolk contains the fat but it also contains half the protein and most of the nutrients. Excluding the yolk should only be done if you need to reduce calories and have little alternative.

Something you might not know is eating eggs in Ancient Olympic games was equal to modern dopping. i still find myself stronger when they are a part of my diet...

Interesting, how is it working out for you, intermittent fasting. Also how is the keto going?

i surely dropped on pounds due to the fact i eat less meals and couldnt fit my macros in a small window. i have to work and avoid eating heavy before bed cause i cant get to sleep.
but my 1st time staying 16hours without food really didnt make me so hungry or weak as i thought it did. guess its all in our minds.

about keto ill start this on monday etc. cause i got a septum surgery going on and ill be staying off workouts like 10 to 14 days. so i thought its ideal to hit a diet.
ill keep you posted

Concerning yolk does the nutritional value differ fromt he method of preparation? I don't mean roasting but the method od boiling.

As far as I know cooking the egg denatures the protein contained in the egg but actually makes it more absorbable over raw egg. I don't believe this extends to the micronutrients contained in the egg or to boiling.

Raw eggs are better than cooked, cause the protein won't get denaturated, but there is the risk of salmonella disease if you don't check the eggs properly before eating them.

I keep my carbs under 30g while doing keto. First few days always suck, but I personally feel great after that phase is over while some still feel like shit.
