Ketotifen made my blood pressure and pulse rise high, what happened?

I started my research of Clen with Keto from RUI. I took the dose my first day at 40mcg, and I took it early in the day. I took 1mg of the Liquid Keto, which is 1ml of the Liquid Keto. Within 20 minutes of taking the keto my heart felt like it was trying to beat out of my chest, and my pulse started to race.

I have a blood pressure monitor, so I took my BP and it was 156 over 135 with a pulse of 115. I was VERY concerned and almost dialed 911. My heart started to feel like I was sprinting hard. Within another 10 minutes or so my bp and pulse started to drop. I leveled out at a normal BP and my pulse between 88-92, but was still beating somewhat hard. What could have happened? Has anyone else experienced this?

I'm not taking it tonight, because I'm very concerned this would happen again. I'm thinking of just taking some Benadryl. If I can't use the Keto how would I cycle with the Benadryl? I believe I've read 2 days on, 2 days off. Or, would I run it 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off and use the Benadryl during the 2 week off period? Thanks for any suggestions you can give on the cycle, or thoughts you have about what happened with the Keto.

I haven't heard of or had this issue myself.
Not sure what to say other then to be very careful with the clen.
I found 40-60mcg more than enough for me, others will use 100-180mcg and I think its crazy! but not everyone is the same. You might be super sensitive to clen and keto making the clen work better... I think that may be a possible reason. but not the keto itself IMO.
I would rec dropping dose on clen a bit and see if that helps, also to slowly ramp up clen dose if you do feel you want to have it higher, over a few days maybe.

Also have you had BP issues in passed? if so then I would be weary of many compounds that can affect BP.

I was taking 50mcg of T3, along with 40mcg of Clen the day this happened. I have since dropped the clen, so I didn't have to worry about the Ketotifen. I'm since continued to use 50mcg of T3, and still seem to have random spells of slightly increased heart rate and BP. There seems to be no rhyme or reason. I'm not taking any caffeine along with, I dropped most of my pre-workout (no stimulants), because even the NO, vaso-dialation seemed to give me spells of the heart rate and BP while on T3. So, I've stripped everything out I can think of. Currently it seems to happen in the evenings with post workout meals. I'm wondering if the carbs have some impact on it, other than that I don't get it. However 2 days this week I have had no issues at all. So, it seems rather random.

Yeah I have never heard of keto doing this to anyone so im not surprised that is not the issue. So you are thinking its blood sugar related?

Jimi,

It's my best guess. That's the only commonality I have found. However, it hasn't been consistent. The only times I've had issues were in the evening though. That's typically when I have the bulk of my carbs, post workout. Other than that, I don't have anything that links together.
