Key--carb intake times ?

i'm not bulking but make sure to start your morning off with complex carbs for sure. before and after your workout is also a must for carbs. i'd go about 100 grams at least pre workout and more for post workout for sure.
 
When bulking I eat everything that's not nailed down just making sure to hit 550g's of protein/day (weight is 270). The only thing I do is cut all gratuitous carbs at 6pm. From then on, protein and veggie-carbs are OK, but no breads, rices, simple carbs of any kind, etc... Adding cardio in the AM = very little fat gains.
 
I carb load evry 2 and 3 days in the evening and I do not eat anything an hour and a half before bed, but I am following the NHE plan which is absolutely awesome IMHO
