I heard somewhere that if you do leg work it will increase your hormone levels throughout your body or something like that.. Is this true???

ive heard this as well...regardless, many people neglect leg work and its crucial for overall physique and power. so anyway you look at it, powerlifter or bodybuilder you gotta have those wheels...

never mind that.............. where'd the avatar come from?

growth in the legs stimulates growth in the entire body......for every inch i get my legs to grow my biceps grow a quarter inch....not training your legs is a common mistake of lazy begginers ........if you want mass all over squat ,deadlift and bench
its the only way

Yes.

And having chicken legs sucks, so squat!

It very ugly to see someone with big chest and shoulders and the legs of Mick Jagger.

i'd take his legs to fuck girls like he does...

very common in our gym too. The reason they don't train legs is because "no noe will look at it anyways since you're wearing pants" ...so most of them are johnny bravos. There are some who work their legs..very very few...and it's not fun to see guys BB curling in powr racks....x.x

another reason is....squat is very demanding and will totally fuck you up if done properly. it's physically and mentally draining...but fun!

Legs and back are the first things I look at...I was (inadvertantly) making fun of some kid last night because I thought his shorts were on backwards...turns out, his legs were just so damn skinny and his shorts were so damn baggy that what SHOULD have been on this SIDE of his leg ended up on the back of his leg.

Squat, and squat right. I see a lot of guys that think they're big and bad because they 'squat'...coming down 5" does not a squat make...

I really don't get why people think this way. People notice my legs and comment on them (as in compliments) quite often (especially first time I meet people) - especially the girls. I hardly ever wear shorts either.

Well, it could also possibly be because people stare at my bubble butt then divert their eyes to my legs, but whatever. :wiggle: :(
