you could do either 1 exercise for the calves but make sure it's heavy ass
or 2 exercises till failure. calves are stubborn ass muscles and can be trained to failure. 2 exercises is alright and enough and if you're using heavy-ass weights on both, no need for a 3rd or 4th. that's my opinion
hammies: cable pull thrus, good morning, stiff legs, GHR machine or manual(which is a lot harder), romanian deads, sumo deads and others. lots of exercises for them hammies.
