looking for a new workout

I was looking into changing up my routine to shock my my body back into growing. Right now, here's my split

mon: chest
tues: legs, calves
wed: bi's, forearms
thurs: shoulders, tri's
fri: back
 
I've been hearing good things about 5x5 training. Can you use this for smaller muscle groups like bi's and tri's?
 
try doggcrap training. i am using it and loving. i am moving more weight then ever and getting bigger while staying lean. type doggcrap training in the search engine
 
Your split looks good to me bro. Why change up something if it's working for you? You'll be better off changing your exercises around and maybe your set/rep scheme.

For myself, I dont care too much for 2 days off at a time. Instead 1 day. But it seems to be a popular thing to take the whole weekend off. It just doesnt work for me.
