loss of adrenaline??

Illtemper

So ive been on HRT for about a yr now and i feel great, so much better then i have in years and i owe that to Maximus! Ive been hitting the gym regularly, im in decent health, i watch what i eat.. Now im 33yrs old and i know im getting older but maybe within the last couple months i dont have the energy like i did in the gym anymore. Basically i have a hard time working out, like today, i did chest and i just dont have the UMPH like i used to to throw up the weight.. I know this probably sounds stupid as your reading this wondering why im posting this in here but i just wanted to see if anyone else was in the same situation.. For me even taking pre-workout drinks dont give me that BOOST anymore. It makes my heart race but it seems as if i dont have the adrenaline anymore. I just cant seem to hit like i used to..... Now usually ill hit 2 body parts a day, by the time i get to the 2nd body part i just dont have the strength in me to hit it hard......

is it possible to lose adrenaline or something over time by being on HRT?

I wanna say CJW had wrote something in about a year ago about this but i cant exactly remember what it was.......

maybe look into B12 injections and DHEA / pregnenolone creams (preferred) or sublingual but, not the pills. I believe all those help in energy, being on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) your b12 will decrease.

Do you drink coffee or any other sources of artificial stimulants more than usual? You can cause adrenal fatigue if you take too much. Is all of your bloodwork is in order? Are you getting good sleep? I have had issues similar to you but I can usually track it down to caffeine or sleep quality.

ok stupid ass that's what Steve and Chip both told me. Go ask them, know-it-all.

Looks like my 2 letter word hit a nerve. Insecurity at its finest. My background in chemistry is superior than theirs. There are no pathways involving test that lower b12 levels. End of story. gayboy.

LOL! NO FIGHTING!!! LOL!

I appericate all the advise and i did look up adrenal fatigue, something i remember reading about almost a yr ago after CJW posted a topic on it... Anyhow it looks like the right sups and you can alleviate adrenal fatigue. I have DHEA spray, that i was using and ill be honest ive slacked on it a bit lately since i switched my schedule around... Now pregnenolone i havent takin yet and unfortuatly i ordered the sublingual pills yesterday before i read this to see that the cream is the thing to use..........

Ill be quite honest, I feel good, but in the gym i can not get into "beast mode" anymore to kill the weights like i was getting back into.. I do Chest and i feel just super muscle weakness if i try to do anything else, almost like my body cant do it. My mind is saying lift it up you pussy, and my body is saying FUCK YOU! Ive never felt like this before but for the last few weeks my legs will be sore for the entire week till i do legs again...... It seems as if im not recouping as fast as i should anymore. Im not crazy to think that i should still be able to hit like i did in my 20's RIGHT???

How long has it been since you had any blood work?

How high are you running your test level and what is your weekly injection dosage?

Just had a blood test about a month or so ago..... Im at 1160 total t and was shooting roughly about 150 e5d... I have since lowered it to 125 e5d so maybe thats why?? also i take 250-300 Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) a week and 1 1\4 Aromatase inhibitor (AI) a week..... my Estradiol was at 34.6 and shbg 15...

Your not on a beta blocker or other BP meds are you ? What about a statin ? These will all make you feel tired and unproductive

I'll ask an entirely different question: how long has it been since you've taken a vacation from your training?

What I read in your post are symptoms of over-training.

I've struggled with the practice of rest and recovery in my fitness journey. I understood the concept but it was the behavior part that I struggled with.

Sooner or later, we all need to take a time-out to rejuvenate the body.

No blood meds or beta blockers.....

I don't think over training is it, possible but I don't think so. I only say that cause I took a couple weeks off from heavy lifting about a months ago just cause I was busy with work and was to exhausted by the time I could of went. Although I was working like crazy, may over training, anything is possible I suppose....
