Low dose clomid restart after coming off opioids?

Was on a decent amount of painkillers over the past several months and am now off. It definitely suppressed my testosterone levels hardcore while i was on and was wondering if getting back into bodybuilding in combination with a low dose clomid restart is the best idea to get my natural test production to the appropriate levels? (clomid @ 25mg M/W/F 3 months then stop)

I would imagine that at such a low dose the only possible outcomes would be positive right? The goal is to have my natural test levels maximized/fully recovered without having to use any substance whatsoever afterwords and have heard that a small dose of clomid will stimulate my pituitary (since it was suppressed by the opiates) and then when stopped my levels should be recovered as much as i possibly can from that point on.

Or... should I just get back into exercise routine and do a blood test in a month or two and get an idea where everything is before dosing any clomid? I am under the impression that doing the low dose clomid restart will ensure my natural test levels full recovery to the best of my bodys ability and im afraid that if i don't use it that my natural test might not recover 100%. So.... I guess what im really asking is... can my natural test be affected negatively at all by dosing clomid @ 25mg M/W/F for 3 months and then stopping n doing blood work a month or two later?

I dunno, you guys are the experts. Any advice is greatly appreciated. I just want to make sure my bodys ability to produce testosterone naturally is recovered 100% so I can get the gains I want in the gym as quickly as possible now that my injury is fully healed. 27 years old now.

Just get back in the gym eating right 1st. Should bounce back fine that way opoids will suppress you, but won't completely shut you down like aas will. If your not progressing after a few months get bloods and then maybe try a restart

^^^ This. I was on opioids for a long time and coming off was a bitch. Took months to recover. I didn't use clomid are anything like it to recover my test levels. However I am on suboxone now, almost 2 years now. My dose is 1/8 what it was 2 years ago and I'll be off completely by end of the year.

I will take your advice and use absolutely nothing for the first couple months then get blood work done.

Unless someone actually think clomid is a good idea.. keep in mind i have been shut down from cream for a year when i was on suboxone treatment and i have done a test only cycle before. (by the way, suboxone destroyed my test levels when i was on it) I can only imagine the low dose clomid quickening my natural test recovery no?

Thanks for the input bros.

PS. Does austinite still post on these boards?

I don't see how the low dose clomid protocol that you stated could possibly be a bad idea. Seems to me this will only speed up and maximize your natural recovery. If you choose not to use clomid you might recovery a little bit but theres no way to know for sure if you fully recovered or not. At least with clomid you will know afterwords that your body is producing to the best of its natural ability cuz the clomid will for sure stimulate your pituitary gland. Which from what I can tell is the best way to recover your bodys natural testosterone production. This is just my personal opinion, others on this board are way more knowledgeable than i am.
