Low Testostrone

Sorry if this is not the right place to post this, but I was not sure where.

I went to have a blood test done before I do my first gear cycle. My blood test cam back at a 7.1 level. Some quick info, I am 34 year old male, and I have never done a gear cycle and have never done pro horomones, nor for that matter and drinking but on occasion I have done Exactsy. The place that did the blood test said that it has to be done before 10 AM in the morning or the test is not accurate as I did mine at 2 PM in the afternoon. Any help on this subject would be greatly appreciated.

The time of the test would effect your levels. The questions that I have are, do you have extra body fat and what was the estrogen levels? As men age their levels of estrogens increase and the levels of testosterone decrease. If you have extra body fat, you will more than likely have a higher conversion of testosterone to estrogens, creating the low T levels. My recommendation is that you take some Nolvadex and an Aromatase Inhibitor like Arimidex or Letrozole to reduce your estrogen levels. I am 26 and started to take Nolvadex to prevent hair loss, plus it is shown to increase LH production and raise T levels. I am planning on cycling an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) every other 6wks to allow for continues lean gains.

At youre age you might want to try Tribulus terrestris, dont know if it will work but worth a shot.

What came back at 7.1? Total testosterone? Free testosterone?

There should have been a 'normal range' with the blood test. Do you know what that range was?

Testosterone levels at 10am and 2pm aren't going to be drastically different. This is definitely something that you need to get resolved prior to taking gear. Hell, if you have low testosterone, then getting that resolved may very well help you make gains again without the cycle.

Different labs are calibrated differently. The number is meaningless without a 'normal' range provided by the lab.
