Hi guys,

I know this has probably been talked about a hundreds times or at least should of been. However i do not see a fresh or recent post regarding it...

Besides giving blood to lower your hematocrit levels, what else can be done?

What are others experiences?

Thanks in advance!

Jeremy

here here! i need to know this as well, due to high level of 50!!!

good question!

i feel like crap even getting blood drawn, let alone donating it, prolly cant donate still anyways due to being stationed overseas as certain times!

The only way to lower this is by donating blood. Prior to getting tested make sure you are well hydrated because dehydration can cause a higher number. Mine was at 54 and after donating and having two blood draws I'm down to 49. Still a little high but it was really high before.
