Max-OT and flax seed oil

I know a lot of you swear by this method. It seems like a complete training philosophy. But I have some questions about points that conflict with some reliable things I've heard in the past.

In Max-OT, Paul discourages use of flax seed oil as having no place in building muscle and says to just use a gram of CLA a day. This goes back to his macro ratio of 53/47/10. He recommends 4000+ cals (his BMR formula comes down to BW*20) so that means more than 500g protein a day. I think that's ridiculous and I'd much rather reach that goal with flax seed oil and a macro ratio of 40/40/20. Whats the opinion on flax seed oil these days?

I don't know much about flax seed oil, I thought baseball players just used that as a name for winstrol. LOL

Seriously though, you could eat 500 grams of protein. I am up around there, its not so bad.

I could probably eat about 350-400. I'm looking into getting some B12.

So you don't use flaxseed oil to reach a total calorie intake goal?

Just started MAX-OT? It's a great program in the beginning, you will definitely see gains in strength, but although I got stronger (also plateued after a while) I never really gained that much size. I'm not knocking it, in fact I swore by it for 2 years, but IMHO there are better routines out there. Just my 2 cents. Good luck
 
Much healthier ways to gian bro than just eating meat!!

Udo's Oil, Flax Oil, Extra Virgin Oil, Cod Liver Oil, Fish Oil, Hemp Oil........ALL EXCELLENT Sources of healthy olis (fish oils being the best IMO).

How much do you weigh and what is your Bodyfat %?

I would guestimate MOST would do well on a 2 grams of Protein/per LEAN body weight pound

The rest: Consisting of a 2:1 balance of HEALTHY fats HEALTHY Carbs

Total Calorie amount will be based on your goals (cutting/bulking)

Nope.. Just regular food... When cutting from wild salmon... When bulking from ultimate cheeseburgers.
 
I'm about 200 at 12% now. I've been stuck there since September, in fact I lost 10-12 pounds.

Soul Rebel, I always train for size. I will be doing Max-OT while I am running a test E/tren E cycle (first time on tren also). I don't want to waste something like that so let me know if you have the names of any programs you prefer.
I guess that what Paul was saying in the Max-OT program spoke to me on a lot of levels. His views on intensity and fatigue and how long you can go at peak intensity, as well as his timing for rest matched my experiences up exactly. I think this might be a good program for me but I'm willing to look at other ones. I already know about Doggcrap's and other high/low variations so you don't have to explain them if that's the type of program you prefer.
