Maximus hrt bloodwork

In an ongoing effort to further serivce all of our existing clients and those of you that will become new clients, we have made now made it standard on all blood work through labcorp that your results for your total and free testosterone as well as your total estrogens (e1, e2, e3) will be broken out and able to be viewed individually. The cost of the blood work was $250.00 and will now be $300.00.

The ability to view these panel's independently will significantly improve our ability to get you "dialed in" as quickly as possible. So now, your standard blood work will consist of:

Total testosterone
free testosterone
total estrogens
e1 (estrone)
e2 (estradiol)
e3 (estriol)
cbc
cmp
tsh
psa
shbg

Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to working with you and continuing to serve all of your Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) needs.

Chip how soon should i go get bloodwork after starting testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) to see where my levels are at? i was planning on doing it every three months after i was dialed in but im eager to go asap to see where im at and to adjust the doses if needed.

i usually suggest that you get bloods done about 10-12 weeks after beginning on therapy. That being said, given the fact that so many of us have suffered the "low t blues", in many cases for years, many bro's do get very eager to see where their new levels are at. Given all the great changes that you see and feel happening all around you, its only normal to wonder how close you really are from morphing from a mere "mortal" into a super human maximus cyborg!

So you could give it 8 weeks and be pretty confident that your levels are peaked and stabilized.

this is a great change Chip. I was going to ask you about this next time I was due for bloodwork. Too bad you had to raise the price to $300 tho =( .

but the positives outweigh the negitives on this one.

Yikes. I'm used to getting blood work every 6 weeks. (When I worked with my doc.) Anyone know if we can use insurance to pay for the labcorp tests? If not insurance, at least flexible spending plans? Thanks!

i use my insurance with labcorp. my insurance has a contract with labcorp so i can go and get any tests done for free. if your gonna use your insurance then go directly to labcorp and get the tests done.

Lucky man. I just received a bill for my physical, and my provider DECLINED it. I have DUAL insurance, Anthem.:destroy:

Question for Misc:

(Sorry, I don't have Private Message Permission)

Misc: How do you get your bloodwork ordered when you go directly to LabCorp? I thought a doctor has to order the labwork? (Or is that one of those things that varies state-to-state?)

Thanks!

Anthem is lame as hell. They are beyond useless. They only cover scripts. And nothing fancy. It is cheaper to say I have no insurance with most docs than to even use them based on the bills I get after.
