Hello everyone.

I just attempted to heat my vial with warm water in a cup as I have been recommended to as it makes the injection a bit more smooth, but being clumsy when the bottle was in the water it went upside down so the top was face down probably for a minute or so. Have I contaminated my gear? Not sure whether its safe to inject so just came on here to be sure.

Cheers

I think you may be able to see any water in the oil.
To me though, if you were heating the vial then that would create a positive pressure inside the vial causing some of the oil to come out and not water going in.
Still, maybe let the vial sit and see if you can see any water in it.

Really shouldn't be a problem and if water got in you should see it because water and oil do not mix well, ya think

Can you see water , hello.

Personally I use a hair dryer blower. Takes a minute. Been doing it this way for many years. I don't like my vials all wet and the labels screwed up. The water method take too long for me but at the same time I don't have a problem with drawing with a 23G rather then a 22 or something bigger.

Come on guys. This has got o be a troll. Worried he got water in his vial???? Really!? Don't suppose the rubber stopper would keep water out ehh?? I mean shit, u could store vials in a tank of water if u wanted to!! Wtf?!

Some of these newbies are ignorant. I mean the rubber it keeps the liquid from getting out but can't keep liquid from getting in?

Stop Mikey stop right here... :smash:

Yeah that does make sense, I sound dumb hahaha. It's just when I pulled it out the cup it seemed like there was more in the vial but probs was just me telling myself that. Nice one for the replies though and yeah think in future i'll use a hairdryer instead
