meal before go to bed

I usually take 500 gram cottage cheese before I go to sleep. But now I am on a cutting diet and take a protein shake before sleeping. But isn't it better to take cottage cheese instead of the protein shake? But isn't that to much carbs before sleeping?
 
Cottage Cheese is fine.

You can also take caesin protein which is a slower absorbing protein. You can get it pretty cheap from trueprotein.
 
I take a big meal at about 9 pm and before bed I take a protein shake with 1 spoon of olive oil (prot-fat meal).
 
I think that the cottage cheese is a good idea before bed. I try to get as much of my calories everyday from real food as I can. I take in about 350 grams of protein per day and only about 100 of it comes from powder.
