Funny thing is - the board shorts (apart from hiding the legs) probably serve to make the contest more acceptable to the general population which would regard the posing trunks as "gay".

Yes posing trunks are totally "gay" if you wear them on the beach. But on a bodybuilder they are not gay. Come on guys, why are all you defending this insanely dumb(and yes gay as shit) physique class? Maybe it's because you guys are afraid you c don't have what it takes to be bodybuilders?
 
I told a guy I know that he would look a lot better if he started training heavier he might put some more size on beings as he is 6' and about 190 lbs . His reply to me was "I think I'm good where I'm at bro , I'm all about aesthetics, I'm not into that thick fluffy look" talking about my 5'11" 230lb 14% bf build" hey, I guess if you want to look like a pencil neck model go for it. Just know I'll be on the squat rack while you are doing resistance band curls with your shirt off haha to each his own.
 
Hey Maxwell I got your post and the southern hater SNOWPATROL confused..I m sorry....got ahead of myself..moderating while gathering some emprirical data for my doctorate while working on my second retirement...I failed to slow down and take heed to who the hypocrite was.

I m just another dumb, uneducated, lazy , homo hating racist southerner whose worked on 5 continents and speaks 3 languages.

Gfunkmanilla---good stuff...I miss backing out the rack w tonnage.

It used to be like this on my squats
1 plate
2 plates
3 plates ---a belt
4 plates ---a belt and wraps
5 plus plates - a belt, wraps, a suit (and then maybe a nose bleed......)
 
Tuetonic... We all know the guy I'm talking about. Lol and yeah the nose bleeds really get some looks at the gym.....that or throwing up all over the floor in the power rack hahaha
