I was reading an article of drinking a gallon of milk a day to build mass. Has anyone heard of this ? I'm trying to looking to gain 20lbs. In three months I'm currently 140lbs. Any insight would be helpful. Thank you.

GOMAD (gallon of milk a day) is a recommendation for a very specific type of trainee. Just because it will work and gain you weight doesn't mean you should do it, especially if you're lactose intolerant. One would need much more stats to see if it has any reason to be in your diet. Aside from all that, 20lbs in 3months is 6.67lbs per month or 1.33lbs per week. This should be easily accomplished with whole food. No reason to go GOMAD.

its by far the most retarded thing i have ever heard of in my life... your not suckling your mothers breast at your age..

eat whole foods.. keep it simple and gain the weight..

I tried that once. I was late to class and grabbed a half gallon to drink Postworkout. Then I thought I would drink one everyday. I gained a lot of bodyfat, and I felt miserable most of my summer. I've always had a hard time gaining weight, so it was easier for me to get kcals in by drinking them and I have an insatiable love for milk. Was it stupid? Probably. Did I gain pure muscle from it? No. But damn, I love milk. I don't regret my decisions.
