Muscle Gain on HRT?

Is muscle mass gain really possiable with Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT)? I am interested in the other benifits as well. Thanks, Bob
 
definitely! my weight went from 191 to 210 in a little over 2 months. Some of that is definitely fat but I did gain a lot of muscle. My pants still fit the same. I need to take some pics and update my log.

People at work are constantly commenting on how I'm noticeably bigger and more vascular.

before testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) my test level was 280 and last time i tested it it was over 1300. BIG difference :)

My strength has shot up as well

I'm taking 200mg of test cyp every 5 days
as well as 250 IU Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) and 1mg anastrozol

I eat every 2-3 hours and make sure I get in a lot of good protein, carbs and fats.

oh yeah I'm 34 and been on Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) for a little over two months
 
Hi RA. I see that you asked the exact same question back in June of this year.

Did you follow up with 3J and work on your diet. With your total test in the 630 range even at the age of 52 you should be able to put on mass on your frame with the right diet and consistent proper work outs.

Its sounds like you had lost considerable weight and were about to change up your diet to lean bulk. What has happened over the past 4 months? What progress have you made?
 
65 lbs of muscle gained here... on small testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) doses. its all about controlling estrogen and eating a lot.
 
Hi, I got some help from a trainer at the gym but even with that and working out I still have not gained much? I am harder and I guess look ok? But I really want to gain a little size? And the libido boost would be cool too.... I have a physical comming up next week and getting blood work. So I am gonna take the plunge here real soon...... so I hope it helps.....

you'll gain muscle if you're training and eating enough protien.. If you triple the amount of testosterone serum (ex. 300 to 900), then you will greatly increase protien synthesis ie. Muscle growth!
 
14# of muscle in only 3-5weeks here. I weigh and measure myself regularly little to no change in measurement points and scale keeps going up!

It's all about diet, exercise and (with HRT) a simulated, properly working pituatary gland/gonads!
 
14lbs in 5 weeks? Shoot, that's great! I used to 247lbs (fat) mostly. I lost that or most of it. I had a hard time eating again so I know for a while I was not eating right. I feel good about protien intake now. I not afraid of working hard, at first I was working to much I think. I go two days on one off then three days on one off.....All I want is to gain a little size and hav other things work a little better or more like it used to be. I refuse to grow old gracefully.......thanks to all, I apprecite your time
 
Stick with the weights, work with your Doc, talk to 3J and you'll get there!

To be fair, I'm quite sure a portion of my 'gains' is water weight also.
