I as many others have, had puberty induced gyno as a kid. I unfortunately never did anything about it until I was 38 years old. I let the shithead doc (I went to him largely because he was doing my wife's rhinoplasty and he gave us a deep discount) talk me into only lipo of the breast tissue for puffy nipples. What I ended up with was a smaller version of the original problem. My nips were puffy and looked like shit. I became very depressed. The more I worked out and the larger my chest got the further out the nips got pushed. When I trimmed down the puffy nips were even more pronounced. It was a lose lose situation it seemed. I had to wait a year to do a revision surgery and my body basically went to shit as I felt so demotivated. Eventually I ate like shit I didn't work out...my BF was at an all time high of 29% and I could barely press 160 lbs. In a year I went to another Doc who had a stellar rep out there and he removed the entire gland on both sides. Said they were the size of golfballs. He also lipo'd a bit around my abs and flanks and basically thinnned out my skin in those areas. I saw an immediate difference (my chest was flat!) and it really motivated me to get right with my health. Today I am 39, I work out 5 days a week and harder than I ever have, I look like I'm 32 or 33 tops, my skin is tight, my BF is around 14%, My top bench is 265 and I've added tons of new muscle ( a cycle or two has helped :) and I only wish I had done it 20 years ago.

Also just want to say thank you to all the members and mods of this board. It's great to have a place you can get honest and true answers to questions. It motivates the hell out of me as I log on and read each day. Will post some before and after pics soon.

congrats man.. yea i got the big puffy nips too... gonna have to go through my health care provider and just hope the doc is good.

I have some befores and they are weird to look at. I don't recognize myself.

Yes, good point man...

Today will be my first day back to the gym after a long 5 month break due to tendonitis (elbows/knees) and to just let my body heal, i know it's a long break but..
I went with my Mom to do the groceries and got lot's of healthy food, so my diet will be in check. (didnt even know they had ground chicken; 305g/100=17g protein and ground turkey; 558g/100g=20 protein)

Make sure the ground turkey is turkey BREAST and not the dark meat

Can I ask what the correctional surgery was called? Because I am in the exact same boat as you. I was only 17 when I got my surgery, and I didn't wanna tell my parents cuz they probably woulda thought I was a flamer. So I worked my ass off and saved up $3000 for the surgery - and got ZERO results (except lost a little bit of fat on my chest, and a whole lot of muslce mass following) It's been 2 years now and I don't have the money to correct it. Doctor was a stuck up prick too, I'll never go back to him. He wouldn't even give me the time of day to address my concerns. But for future reference, what is it called, lol?

it's called gynecomastia correction. I had almost the same experience. The doc kep trying to leave the conversation and walk out and I'm like hello? Are you in a rush dude? I should have listened to my gut that he was not caring at all about his patients. There are painters and there are artists. Find yourself an artist. If you dare go back to that prick and tell him you are completely unsatisfied then you can probably get him to remove the glands for a nominal charge. Tell him you'd like to have a revision. It is usually half the cost of the first one.

bump to that... i have lumps under their... but my nips are just really puffy and big.

sounds familiar. I think many guys suffer from this

I also had gyno as a young teenager. The lumps went away but my nips are still puffy and I seem predisposed to gain fat towards the bottom of my chest as I gain weight. I'm pretty afraid that using gear will make the gyno come back but I'll take as many precautions as possible to make sure it doesn't. I would love to have the glands taken out and never have to worry about it.

im confused about this... i checked up on the gyno surgerys and theirs a lot of different precedures. I want to know which one i need... i want the glands removes... but i also want the size of my nips cut in half!

You had surgery behind your parents back with your own money at 17! Damn man, what were you so worried about? Why would they think of you as a flamer? Do they view it as a cosmetic procedure, and are against those or what?
This just seems really odd and amazing.

That's what I did and I have to say I LOVE taking my shirt off. I feel totally comfortable. Sounds weird for me to say that after the mental agony I dealt with all those years. I would never take my shirt off in public because of the puffed out nips.
