was just wondering, if one loses muscles on a low karb.diett on the atkins scale?
this is what i have: insulin: novorapid, and insulatard from novonordic and ECA
My plan is :
day one: almost no karbs and use the insu to get into ketosis. kardio berfore bed,
day 2-3: prox. 10-20 g karbs.
day 3-7: prox. 30 g karbs
day 7-14: prox 40 g karbs.
My plan is to do kardio before i go to bed every day, pluss going to the gym 3 times a week to keep the muscles in shape. I will be using insu ( since i also have diabetes type 1 ) and ECA.
Now my question was if i will loose mucle aswell as fat or if i'm safe whit the insu and ECa combined whit moderate weightlifting. I will take the karbos mostly in the morning and after the gym. I will use the insulatard in the morning and night and the novorapid after the gym only.
How much fat can i expect to lose on this?? i just want to lose about 5-8 kilos. is this possible in 2 weeks whit hard kardio and a strong selfcontrol?
