My son and steroids

I'm nearly 50. It's easy to abuse AAS, but hard to OD. Long term damage can be done, but it's possible to continue safely on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for decades. I know guys that have been on T without pause for 20 years.

Would I want my son to be on them? It depends... If he was super smart about it and not willy-nilly, then I'd be excited for him to get bigger, stronger, faster. If he was a dumbass about it and doing it solely to impress chicks then I'd have to have a sit down with him. I would demand that he have bloodwork and checkups at at testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) or Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) clinic. It's expensive, but at least you have a physician involved.

this is great advice right here..........im a father so i know how you feel.

although i disagree with your point that if its illegal you should toss them, i mean if he found your cubans in a box in the den and threw them out would you be pissed?

the bottomline is there are a whole lot of things out there that are worse than steroids..........namely fast food.

so to put this in perspective for you, a guy looking to increase his physique is a lot less likely to get into trouble with the law than the guy looking for some crack to get high.

the steroids you mentioned are not dangerous to one's health unless they are abused, like anything in life. so if i were his father i would sit down with him and ask him why he decided to use AAS. you might find there is a rather logical explanation. steroids are less harmful than alcohol..........if used intelligently than bot much harm can be done.

southorangecount...........i completly agree with this post and would urge you to read this advice and base your actions on the voice of veterans in this sport.

btw.....i am a father of four wonderful children and have been in this sport 15years. that advice is exactly what i would do with my own son.

He just turned 24. He's living with me because with the economy as it is, his fitness trainer biz went nearly down the tubes....he's just earning a lot less and I was willing to give him reduced rent in exchange for his helping with my home businessin his spare time. I found the steroids because I searched his room because of other suspicions. Everyone is saying it's ALL illegal so it seems that course of action would be not give them back to him regardless of his age. And I would be trashing the stuff since I assume it would be illegal to give/sell them to someone else.

i would let him do it. sounds liek he did his research and he is completely old enough to do them. he also is a rown man and can make his own decisions imo (in my opinion). so let him. if your gonna take anything from him take the test and eq. DO NOT TAKE THE NOLVADEX FROM HIM OR HE COULD GET HURT. aka the Tamoxifen 10
