My special lady! Bronzed Goddess

Man, am I blind. Didn't see this thread until now. Nope haven't had this baby yet. I've already started to dialate. Monday I was 1 centimeter dialated, not sure where I am now. No contractions yet. Hopefully I'll have him this weekend.

Good luck, and remember, you're allowed to punch, kick, and curse out your husband during labor. ;)

Cool!

I hope you'll consider NOT having him circumcised. Babies are born perfect, we don't need to modify them.

Aw sorry Dave, we are getting him circumsized. It's not a religious reason I just have heard it's more sanitary. But thanks for the kind words.

Just drank some Red Rasberry Tea........trying to get these contractions going, but I don't feel anything. Maybe I should go walk some more...........

I should be patient, but I'm so .tired of being pregnant

That's a myth. It takes less maintenance to keep an intact member clean than it takes to keep YOUR parts clean.

I can imagine. Actually, as a man, I can't, but I can pretend to... Good luck. Just remember the most important part of the ritual -- when labor starts, sink your fingernails into the father's forearm and scream "YOU did this to me!!!!!" :)

more women get vaginal infections from uncircumcized men than those that are cut!!

More BS. :) The USA, Israel, the Islamic world, desert tribes in Sub Saharan Africa, and Australian Aborigines are the only places left where circumcision is routinely performed. I don't think you'll find a statistically significant difference between vaginal infection rates in those places, vs. the rest of the world where boys are left unmutillated.

Performing cosmetic surgery on a baby's genitals is just sick.

But, stepping down off the soapbox...

So, Bronzed Goddess, still got your legs crossed? Pop the cork yet?

Have you tried nipple stimulation? Your husband can do this for you but if he's busy, gimme a call and I'll come down to help ya out. ;)

Seriously though...nipple stimulation was one of the things my doctor had us try. I think it's done in 15 minute intervals. It helps to produce a hormone or something that will help induce labor.

Be careful walking outside...it's too hot in FL unless you're going out in the morning or later in the evening. I forget why exactly, but overheating your body is dangerous to the baby.

Hey puddles, I've heard of the nipple stimulation BUT I hear it can cause som SERIOUS contractions because it causes the body to release oxytocin (natural form of petocin).

Still pregnant. Ah well he'll get here when he's ready I suppose. I do my walking in the evening and it's not a whole lot I just waddle down the street or around the park.

LOL....ahhhh...sweet memories of the 9th month waddle! Glad I only went through it once though. :)

Are you gonna nurse the baby or do you go with formula?

hmmmm that's right.. you are a man and i am assuming you have never fucked another man with an uncircumcised penis, so you really have no idea how much bacteria gets trapped there and how sensitive females can get infections from that... I have dated 4 guys, uncircumcized and have gotten infections from them.. My friends complain of the same shit.. My one friend broke up with a guy because she kept getting yeast infections from his uncircumcised penis... My uncle had to get circumcised at 25 because his wife kept getting infections and would you believe it.. AFTER his circumcision.. NO MORE infections...
so go pull our your stats.. go compare Aborigines to Americans (lmao) but as a woman.. i know for a FACT that it is common to get an infection from a man that is uncircumcized.. i am not saying ALL.. but alot!!

I would choice a circumcized man over one that is not cut anyday!

That is correct, however I do possess one. I am unaware of hever having contracted, or of passing on, any sort of infection. It's just as likely that these fellows were picking it up from you, then re-infecting you later...

Over six million years of human evoluion, or 80 million years of mammalian evolution, the foreskin has not been a problem. It is not a birth defect that needs to be corrected. Outside the USA, the majority of men in the Western world are uncut, and their partners seem to manage.

This is a double standard -- if we were talking about cutting up female genitalia, people would be outraged.

I suggest that your experience with infections is anomalous, or at least unlucky, not representative of the population as a whole.

--dave, uncut and glad of it

good luck!congrats, cut the flap of unuseable bacteria trappin skin off!

It's not a flap, nor is it unuseable. It requires less maintenance to keep clean than a woman's parts.

Bronzed Goddess, whatever you decide, good luck with this joyous occasion and addition to your family.

You misunderstand. The Aborigines are one the minority of cultures in the world that DO practice routine circumcision. A rather brutal form of circumcision at that.

I would choice a circumcized man over one that is not cut anyday!

Ouch.

Women do not have a (third:)) leg to stand on when it comes to talking about genital hygene. But I would never suggest that routine labiectomy is the answer. Your double standard is showing.

Sorry, I didn't mean to hijack this thread about BG's impending miracle.
