My Test Levels Crashed while on TRT--Possibly due to bad vial

Based on my recent test results, my test levels have completely crashed but it looks like I am still suppressed. How is this possible?

I have been injecting E5D for the past 2 years at about 100mg/week. This usually keeps me in the 1000 ng/dl range towards the fifth day which is when I had the bloodworks done. I have not had a test done for the past 6 months and good thing I did. My recent test came back at 106 ng/dl (see attached)

Testosterone, Serum 106 ng/dl (348-1197) LOW
LH 0.1 mIU/mL (1.7-8.6) LOW
FSH <0.2 mIU/mL (1.5-12.4) LOW
Estradiol <6.0 pg/mL (7.6-42.6) LOW


I suspect that the vial of test I have been using has gone bad from improper storage. In order for my test levels to drop to this low, it must have taken at least 4 weeks of injecting bad test in order to bring levels this low, correct? I have been noticing mood change for the past 6-8 weeks which makes sense. The estradiol crash is horrible.

I have started to use a new vial of test enanthate and hoping to do another test soon. My question is

• Should I do another bloodtest in 5 days (after injecting with new vial of test) or wait longer?

What else should I be doing at this point?

Are you using pharm gear, compounded gear or ugl gear for your TRT? Was your pituitary checked when you were receiving your diagnosis?

You will be shutdown in that scenario, there is no surprise there.

I would be worried if that was Pharm Test, I'd probably be showing my bloodwork to the pharmacy to get a new vial.

Also, where were you storing it?

Either lab error or you have been injecting oil without test in it. Talk to your pharmacist to see if there are others with issues in the batch yours came from.

I don't think it would be a lab error, considering the E2 levels are dumped I can only assume an AI was still being taken without much test to be aromatased in the first place and dip in mood has been noticed.

Hard to imagine a drop in potency to essentially zero from a legit pharma product even under poor storage conditions.

I started TRT under a physician for about a year and then decided to go about it on my own after moving to a different location without a reputable trt doctor. As you can see, big mistake using non-pharmaceutical grade test and getting behind on my bloodwork schedule.

I have started a new bottle of test(also non-pharmaceutical grade unfortunately) from a different vendor for about a week now. Yes, I was also taking a very low dose of arimidex before at about 0.1mg/day dosed ED. I didnt realize my test levels crashed so the continued AI dosing must have crashed my estradiol as well.

How long should I wait before I get my next blood test? Starting from a Total T of 106 and near 0 estradiol I would assume it would take at least 4 weeks for my blood levels to stabilize to where they were before again

My protocal before was about 75mg E5D (so ~100mg weekly), 250iu HCG E3D, and 0.1mg arimidex ED. This puts me at about 1100ng/dl (scale 348-1197) at the end of my 5 day cycle before my injection and estradiol at around 14 (scale 7.6 - 42.6). My SHBG is in the midrange of normal so I am surprised that such at low dose of test puts me in such a high total test level. Does anybody know why or experience something similar? I am also very sensitive to aromtization so I keep the test dosage low or else it will convert to estradiol very easily. If I didn;t use an AI, the estradiol would be in the 40's range on the same dosage.

My new protocol is going to be about 62.5mg E5D (~85-90mg weekly), 250iu HCG E3D, and cutting out the AI.

can you get acces to pharma gear? if you already had a script I don't think it would be an issue.. Your gear definatly seem underdosed; what ugl is that?

Compounding pharmacies produce medications in house using raw materials. They can create custom dosages and alternative delivery methods of available medications.

I get all my stuff from a compounding pharmacy through my TRT clinic. 4ml vials of test cyp (4 weeks worth), .25mg capsules of anastrozole, etc.

There shouldn't be in theory. However in recent years a few compounding pharmacies have come under scrutiny for substandard quality control and cleanliness of their facilities. That being said, I've only had positive experiences with the items I've gotten from compounding pharmacies.
