I wanted to give everyone a little update on my TRT experience since adding HCG. I hope this information can prove useful to anyone that is undecided on whether they want to add HCG to their TRT protocol.
When I first got tested for Low T my TT came back at 64, it was so low that my doctor asked me to come back several days later to retest. My doctor started me on 140mg every 7 days of Test C and then tested my TT again after 6 weeks. My TT had increased a great deal but I was still in the low 400's so he increased my dosage to 160mg every 7 days. After another 6 weeks he again retested and my TT came back at 510. After another 6 weeks I asked my doctor about HCG, I really liked the outlook of some of the benefits associated with adding this compound to my protocol so my doctor agreed to prescribe it to me. He prescribed me 300iu's 2x a week for a total of 600iu's a week. Two weeks after starting the HCG my doctor again (a money maker for him from my insurance) did a blood test and my TT had increased to 560. Yesterday was my six month mark of being on TRT and my doctor did yet another blood test and after being on HCG now for almost 2 months my TT is sitting at 800.
Now yes there are some of you that have a TT level of 800 or higher without the use of HCG but in my case my doctor would not increase my dosage above 160mg because my free T is right at 20 and their policy is not to exceed 20 for free T. The addition of HCG has allowed my body to restart my natural T production to a small degree but the combination of that with my weekly dosage has allowed me to get to a TT level that I feel better being at than without the HCG.
I hope this helps!
