N-acetyl cysteine and orals

I just started to taking N-acetyl cysteine had heard about it and did some research but the only the I can't find and had a question on is if it messes with the potency or dilutes any orals you are on while taking it i.e. d-bol, anadrol, etc.

I have not heard it doing anything to any drug you may take. Its only purpose is to help the liver make glutathione. NAC is the major precursor for glutathione, so if you give the body a lot of NAC, it can make a lot of glutathione, which is what the liver wants. Glutathione is a VERY powerful antioxidant.

Exactly how powerful is NAC? Mega always says to run 1.2g NAC on any oral stack. If u run two orals at the same time like accutane and dbol would u want more than 1.2g NAC? Can it become toxic at high doses? And how does it compare to Milk thistle would u say?

I took ur advice on the 1.2 Nac, would more be useful for 2 orals at the same time or not?

Was asking about Milk Thistle cause I over heard someone talking about it today. I don't recall it being junk though, but If thats what u say, then I wouldn't look past it.

Austinite is the man when it comes to all this stuff. The link below in my signature has a section about supplements. In there he talks about NAC and dosages. Give it a read and it should answer all/most of your questions about NAC.

The lethal dose (LD50) in rats is 10g/kg. Pretty safe to say you would hork it up before you got anywhere near toxic levels.

Look into UDCA or TUDCA as well, works great with NAC. I Usually run both when on a cycle that includes an oral and never had an issue.
