I am currently taking 100mg test cyp per week (depotest, manufactured by pfizer). Up until now the price was great, however a change in insurance companies has caused some red tape. I now have the option of paying $50 per month of the name brand depotest, or going with generic test cyp at much less ($5). Anyone aware of any potential quality differences between name brand vs generic?

Generic is perfectly fine. There are strict controls around quality. I wouldn't give it a second thought assuming you live in the US, Canada or other developed country.
