this is what the box says: 2000 IU serum gonadotropin and 1000 IU Chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) (equivilent to 1000 USP Units chorionic gonadotropin) in freeze dried form and one vial containing 25mL sterile Bac water for injection as diluent.

so is this one box only 1000 Iu's HCG?

and if so this box will only last approximately one week if i do 500 IU's week?
contrary to what bill llewelyn says, i'll be running HCG during my cycle..should i run it the entire 8 weeks or stick to only 3 weeks.

i did a search on here but all the info was very contradictory. thanks in advance.

Sounds like it, but I am concerned about this 'serum gonadotropin.'

If you do 500 IU/week, it will last you two weeks. The usual protocol is 300-500 IU every 4-5 days.

Good!

The entire 8 weeks is best.

hrmm...that a LOT of bacteriostatic water for only 1,000 IU of hCG. 1mL would be much more resonable. What brand is your hCG? Bioniche-Animal Health USA, Inc.?

My reserach leads me to believe that the serum gonadotropin is gonadotropin taken from pregnant mare instead of pregnant human. A mare is a female horse. It appears that a longer (and more appropriate) name for this might be Pregnant Mare Serum Gonadotropin (PMSG).

I suspect that these two gonadotropins are not bio-identical. This issue might warrant further reserach, but I suggest you not take this stuff until you have firmly determined it to be (1) safe and (2) bioidentical to hCG.

The gonadotropin that you mention appears to be sold under the (trade?) name of PG 600.

Please do more research first before you take it as I have not seen it in this configuration before either. You do not want to be taking horse stuff. The most common IU's I have seen is 500,1500,5000,10000. My 10,0000 IU can with 10ml of water.

yes, pg600 for sows. its not horse stuff according to the manufacturer. other people have had good results from pg600 which has led to my decision to try it. i have researched this quite a bit but other than the few i have known to use it i cant really find any other info.

The manufacturer said it is not horse stuff? What does that mean? Not from horses or not for horses? Did you get this from the package insert or did you get this from calling them up or what?

PG 600 clearly has mare gonadotropin in it. I'm not 100% sure it is derived from horse urine, but I suspect it is, much like how all hCG is from human urine of pregnant women.

I expect that there are probably zero studies about using PMSG in humans.

Personally i wouldn't take anything besides HCG, anyhow this is cheap, don't worth the risk!
It seems that hcg CAN be used in animals, but there is nothing showing that PMSG can be in humans, and i'm sure there isn't any single study about this!
