Hey there.

Not sure where to start but here it goes. I use to work out a bit in high school but didn’t notice too much, as well as play soccer but had to stop due to a car accident roughly a year and a half ago. Anyways I look at myself now and am disgusted. I have never been so out of shape. I’m not fat but I do have a little belly.

Finally being fed up I’ve decided to join a gym. I’ve read thru the forums about eating tuna for protein after work outs and drink enough water. I roughly have an idea of how to set up my program but what I need to know is if there is anything if could take to speed up my process of building muscle. As well as certain foods to help me out. People told me that there are diet shakes that I could start on. What opinions or pointers can you guys and gals give me.

I’m going to continue to read thru the forum and learn as much as I can. If anyone can help me out I would appreciate it.

Thanks everyone

Supplements you can use:
(1) Protein powder
(2) Creatine
(3) Multi-vitamin
Here are a couple websites you may want to check out:

You have alot of questions here and I think the best advice I can give you is to read through some of the old posts. Go to the Diet forum and learn about proper eating. The Triaing Forum will help with your workouts and the Supplement Forum can't hurt either.

After doing some intense research if you still have questions, post them here. The members will be glad to help you out.

I would use Creatin after one year of training.

First off
Start with a good training routine .....are you looking for size or to trim up?
Train every other day......for better recovery.
Adjust your workout accordingly.
Eat the right foods .
Get plenty of rest.
Supplements and protien powder ,creatine as Easto had stated.
If you have any more questions do a search ...if nothing comes up..just ask we are here to help.
Good luck
If

i'm looking to first size up the muscles then trim it.

the links to the sites are very informative and helpful. i've gone thru the forum and have learned a lot.

guys you've been a great help, thanks again.

Def like Easto said......take protein in any way possible, and maybe some creatine in there too. I do 4 protein shakes a day with mixed in creatine......besides all the other meats I eat. I avg about 250g of protein a day and Ive had no complaints about gains.....expecially from the ladies;)
