EDIT: CUTTING CYCLE. Not utting cycle. :Pat:

Alright fellas...

Right now I am about to come off a bulking blast and into a cruise for 8 weeks. Will be cruising on 150/150 test/mast.

I am 6ft 222lbs 11% right now.

I have never cut on cycle before so am very excited to see how shredded I can get. I am planning on 12 weeks with test, tren, mast and an anavar tail.

I have a couple questions:

1.) How should i have my diet during my cruise. Right now since I am still on my bulking blast for another 3 weeks I am eating +600 surplus. Hitting all my macros. During my 8 week cruise would it be okay to taper those down? Or should I do the whole cruise at something like +200 surplus?

2.) During my cutting cycle, how should I have everything. When cutting natty i did a 40/40/20 (p,c,f), -500 deficit and it seems to work pretty well. I really want to keep all my size if possible and just shed bodyfat. Would love to get down to 8% or so. Since I will be on gear can i keep calories higher or should i stick with a -500 deficit? Should i keep protein up around 350-400 like it is now and lower carbs?

Again, this is my first time cutting on gear so i am not sure what to expect and how much different it will be than cutting natty. Keeping my gains is very important. I am already pretty lean. Have very visible abs, vascularity, etc. But seem to hold some fat around my sides. Hoping tren will take care of that.

Thanks for any advice!

i would still keep above your tdee.. 200 calories is fine as long as your sure your hitting it

the idea will be to keep your protein high yes... if a 40/40/20 has worked in the past use it again.. if you want to do something more advanced look into carb cycling, which in my opinion is the best way to cut... being on cycle is going to give you a great advantage

Thanks man!

So for carb cycling is there a certain method you recommend? How high to keep carbs and how low to go?

Also I should still be in a deficit correct. So many different methods and opinions I have seen on carb cycling!

Thanks 3J!

high is somewhere between 300 and 400g usually.. and low is under 100g.. as carbs come down fats go up to replace calories... if you figure out your tdee and keep your protein at 300g a day it should be pretty easy to get

Yep all that is under control. I am very precise with my diet..

One last thing.. cheat meals. Still okay? I have the willpower to stay away but who doesn't enjoy a few slices of pizza and/or a pint of ben and jerry's from time to time? I am talking once every 2 weeks max.

Thanks 3J

you would have to save them for your high carb days

simple enough!

Are you an advocate of leaving the high carb days on what i consider my weak points? For me definitely chest and back can always get bigger/wider..

So just so I am straight..

Protein stays at ~300. Fats fluctuate to make way for high carb or low carb depending on the day..

Will my body ever get used to this, do i need to change things up or just same thing week after week?

run it for about 12 weeks and then consider doing 8 weeks of keto to prime the body again.. and your high carb days should fall on leg days and chest/back days

Probably will only need 12 weeks anyway tops.. After that will go back to a +200 surplus while I cruise for 12 weeks.

Over the 12 weeks do i need to keep dropping cals as though I was on a regular deficit every week or so? Or just stick to my original numbers.

you will obviously have to adjust as you progress
