Hey guys, I started my first cycle 3½ weeks ago. I'm doing 1cc DECA 300 and 1cc test 250 every su day. 2 weeks before I started my cycle of both, I would take 1cc of test every week. I know everyone days it takes a while to see muscle gains but when would I really see gains? I eat 5 times a day. Healthy of course and I do fitness cardio 3 times a week, and when I don't do that, I workout with my bowflex at home. Any tips or advice for a newbie? I'm 5'9" and currently 224 lbs. I've lost some inches with the cardio work out but that was a month before I started this cycle.. Please help with tips or advice. I also drink at least half my body weight of water (in ounces)

What is your age and body fat %?

What are your diet macros?

Why are you using Deca in your first cycle? Are you familiar with managing estradiol on a cycle? Are you using a Dopamine Agonist to control prolactin with the 19-nor?

What type of test are you running (ester)?

You won't see gains from the test since you are just running essentially a TRT dose. As for the Deca, 300mg/week will produce modest gains. It is just slightly more than a "therapeutic" dosage. Deca takes a long time to kick in given the ester so you may start noticing its effects in 8-10 weeks. How long are you going to cycle for?

Why no hCG? Especially given how suppressive Deca is!

What will your PCT be? When will you start? Actually it would help if you listed your cycle by week so we can see what you are planning.

I'm 22 and my body fat currently is 28% . I'm taking DECA because it was "recommend" to me. I have no idea what a diet Marcos is... I'm running test cypionate 250. Do you recommend bumping it up to 600mg per week of DECA instead of 300? What's a TRT dose? I'm sorry but I'm really new to this. I just go by what others tell me...

I hope you can see in your response that there are some gigantic red flags here!!!! Do you think it is wise to be messing with powerful hormones and your endocrine system when you cannot answer basic questions about what you are doing and why? These drugs can really mess you up for life if not used properly. Don't get me wrong -- nobody is born knowing this stuff. You just need to do some research. You have come to the right place for that!

A few quick thoughts:

You are too young. Your endocrine system (HPTA) is still developing until age 25. Using AAS while it is developing can really damage it.

Your body fat is too high. Body fat contains the Aromatase Enzyme which converts testosterone into estrogen. You are going to drive up your estrogen to unsafe levels which can lead to things like gynecomastia (boobs) and edema.

Diet is going to be the key driver in how successful a cycle is. You don't seem to have the first clue when it comes to diet. Eating taco bell every day on a cycle is just going to make you even fatter.

I really encourage you to wait. And in the meantime do your homework so you are ready to run a cycle when you are older. Hang around here and keep learning. Here is a good thread to start with. Read all the links.

Wow bro 28% i learned the hard way not to use anything over 200mgs test at your state. Deca is not a good choice either age well MT explained i personally dont care i started age 32 -33 anyway. If you had years of lifting despite your bf id tell you to use moderate tren but doesn't sound like you do. Your 22 you should be able to burn fat faster than say me. Focus on training and come up with a cardio plan your gonna waste alot of money the gains suck when you have alot of bf, believe me i know. Not saying you cant build muscle but its gonna take along time and fat will be there and you will battle high bp.

I don't eat foods like that MT. I am on a meal plan, eat 5 times a day, grilled chicken salad, fish, tuna, lean meats, egg whites, etc. Its been a long time I've eaten fast food for the same reason I need to lose BF. My BF was 28% over a month ago before I started cardio workouts and stuff. I haven't checked it recently. I don't even look fat I don't know why. I'm 224 lbs and my muscle mass is 153.4, daily cal intake is 2161, water is at 51%. Actually I'm 219lbs if that matters I messed up. I just want to get big and cut. I know its hard to do both at same time and this doesn't come over night either. I justvesnt to know what I'm getting myself into. Will I need estrogen blockers? What's better to take than test and DECA? That's the best thing I could get around here. Hard to come by tools here where I'm from

49ER I've always been active and working out but its just on and off. Until recently I want to stick with it. I've been told I look bigger from my shoulders and arms, my "pecks" are forming better, I lost inches in waist. I drink almost 1½ gallons of water daily.

Did you read the thread I gave you a link to yet?

I'm no pro but agree with the guys who have helped you above. I don't mean to pile on, but...

Track all macros for a couple years and lift a dedicated program in a real weight room.

At most - get your T levels checked to see if endogenous T and E2 are in normal reference ranges. If no insurance, go to privatemdlabs and get the FEMALE hormone panel (Estradiol is important to know). It's about $60 and you get the blood draw anywhere near your home or work. You can find an online calculator for 'Free and bio-available T' when you also have your SHBG level.

You've already stepped off the plank. You MUST get advice from experienced guys now - far beyond my experience level - but I' wish I could help you. Time to study for hours every night.

Diet looks good, now it's hard work and patience. You're heading in the right direction but don't take a short-cut over the cliff brother.
