43 years old, 6'0" 197. I had a rough last year, same symptoms as everyone else, except low sex drive, (wifes 10 years younger)! Was tested and was at 402, not bad, but no sense being below average. Doc gave me 200/ every other week. I had no idea. So far I have had great luck feelinzg better and the "fog" in my thoughts seems to have lifted. I had ben going to the gym for years and have seen little or no progress in strength or muscle development. In the past 3 weeks I have added 25lbs a side to my dumbell press, and feel like I can do more each day. My wife is a personal trainer and I have just started to work out with her more. I feel great all around........but......

I am a pilot and travel for a living and it is not very convenient carrying needles and test around with me. I have lurked and read enough here to know that I need to be doing it at 100 mg/ week or every 5 days at a minimum. My labs last week shot up to 1286 but I still feel great. Doc wants to change me to 1/ month....also seems to be a bad idea from what I am reading. I have not taken any other meds besides rhe cypionate. Talked to my Urologist and he rcomended implanting pellets. I haven't seen much on here yet about that but like the idea of every couple months vs weekly.

Recomendations are desired from those that know. I am very much in on the testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) band wagon. I am a completely new man, just want to do it right and understand my docs level is well below what I feel is an expert.

Thanks again for the help.

Im about 8 weeks into testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) and I feel like a new man as well. If you're experiencing all of these great things from injections at this frequency, then why would the doc or the urologist want to change anything? If it were me, they'd have to pry the syringes out of my cold dead hands.

About traveling with needles and test: you have a prescription...its legal. You arent carrying around anything thats against the law.

once a month is going to kill you. As far as needles the only way to get around it would be to plan as best as you could your being gone and taking shots. Otherwise maybe androgel is an option for you. Wipe it on once a day may be less conspicuous than needles in your travles. Alot people hate the gel, but alot of people specially older guys seem to do better with it.

I don't have a problem with the needles, I can make it work, i just wondered if anyone had any advice with the pellets? I'm not going to mess with the gels as I have two kids 10 and 7 and a wife who can't keep her hands off of me.

I have had a vasectomy, a reversal and another vasectomy, (yes the boys have seen some trauma), so I am not real comcerned about the two bb,s that are going to be in my sack. However, should i be concerned about an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) to keep from having mitties?

Thanks again.

this is what i'm wondering about. i'm going to germany for business for two weeks. do i need a letter from doc? script sticker is on the box for test cyp.

Doc should be changing you but not to monthly. He should be changing you to weekly or even 2x weekly. Seriously do these docs not look at half lifes? Glad it has been working for you. Imagine how much better you would feel if they dosed it on a proper schedule.

Traveling with the Test and Syringes/needles is no problem if you have a prescription, as others have said. If you start taking HCG which needs to be refrigerated, then it gets a little more complicated. I found a nice softside cooler that keeps the HCG cold, but not too cold. It's a little bulky though.
