New here....need advice!

I have recently discovered these boards from a friend and I am using his account to post. I have been reading up on a number of subjects and have found them all very helpful. I have read many posts on diets, workouts, and AS use.
My stats are 24 years old, 5'7" 140 lbs with about 26% bf. I have been an athlete for most of my life, but college life really put the weight on. I have been lifting weights seriously for over a year now. I have lost 20 lbs in the last year, but now I want to focus on building lean muscle and losing all of the excess fat.
My workout consists of:
Mon: 20-30 min cardio first thing in the morning/lower body-evening
Tue: 20-30 min cardio/chest and tris-evening
Wed: Off
Thur: 20-30 min cardio/shoulders, abs, and calves-evening
Fri: 20-30 min cardio/ back and bis-evening
Sat/Sun: Off

My diet consists of:
6am: 1 scrambled egg, 1 tsp salsa, 1 tortilla
9am: Protein shake
Noon: Turkey sandwich with wheat bread and 1 tsp mayo
3pm: Protein shake
7pm: Varies, but I try to always eat clean!
I drink at least 3 liters of water a day.

I would like some opinions on my diet and workout. Also, I have been thinking about trying Winstrol (winny). I have read a lot of threads on the subject and the opinion seems to vary. Do women need post cycle therapy (pct) after using for a short period of time? Is it possible to see these sides acne, missed periods, and deepened voice on low dosages of 2.5-5mg a day for 4-6 weeks? Does this sound like a good beginner cycle? I am currently taking synthroid due to an underactive thyroid, does anyone see any possible interactions?

First of all, let me tell you how refreshing it is to see a post where the person actually has done their research and provided all their information. Good job. I know you said that you want to add some LBM and Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) will do that but it wont make you lose fat. You may lose some fat by having more muscle which in turn will raise your BMR but steroids arent fat burners. Assuming that you already know that, to answer your questions, you are right on with a good starting dose for Winstrol (winny). I would start at the 2.5 and then bump up to 5 after a week. After that you can either stay at 5 or slowly bump again but I definitely wouldnt go above 10. You can also take half in the am and half in the pm. Sides can come on pretty quickly with Winstrol (winny) so take it slow as far as dosage increases. Yes, Winstrol (winny) can lower your voice and cause acne but I would think it would be unlikely at this dosage. Most women I know that have had their voice change were taking 10 to 15mg. Once you start to notice anything like your voice changing, you should either stop or drop the dosage. In regards to the Synthroid you shouldnt have any problems with the Winstrol (winny) effecting that. As for your diet, I would change it up a bit. I would change the tortilla at breakfast to Oatmeal. Second meal being a protein shake is fine. Third meal I would add some green veggies. Fourth being a protein shake is fine. Fifth I would again make sure you have some green veggies and some protein like a chicken breast, tuna, fish, etc... Also I would make sure you are getting some healthy fats. You can get some flax seed oil for that (they dont taste that great but I have an orange flavored on that I mix with one of my protein drinks). Another thing to think about is your liver. Orals like Winstrol (winny) are hard on the liver. I personally take milk thistle and ALA supplements to help protect the liver. I think thats about it for your questions. Hope this helps some. BTW, I was just wondering why you decided to try Winstrol (winny) instead of anavar for a first cycle? Just curious because I personally love anavar and am not a big Winstrol (winny) fan because it dries out your joints. That just reminded me, if I were you I would also take some glucosamine/chondroiton supplements for your joints. Chelsea

Thank you so much for your quick response. It is good to hear that I am on the right track and I will make some changes to my diet. In regards to your reply, I have a few questions. Would flax seed oil in capsule form be sufficient or would the liquid form be better? I will definetly check out the milk thistle and had already looked into the glucosamine for my joints. The Winstrol (winny) was easily available to me right now as opposed to the anavar. In your opinion, do you think my body fat percentage should be lower before starting the Winstrol (winny)? Again thanks for all the help!
 
i say workout looks good. i wont comment on diet because im not 100% sure of my own. with any Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) that you use, you run the risk of developing sides. all that you mentioned. at the dose that you say you want to start off at, its not likely. start off with 5mg of Winstrol (winny) every day (ED). then increase as you see fit, but definitly stay under 50mg ED. I personally would do the Winstrol (winny) for 8 weeks, but that stuff is killer on the joints. it tends to draw the water outof the joints. so i would recommend preloading your body with joint supplements like msm, collogen, labrada elasti joint etc. before you even start your cycle. when i was on it, i started taking joint supps once the problem started. next time i wont, ill do take joint supps before the problem flares. there should be no interactions with the synthroid. and welcome.
 
In my opinion, I would get my BF lower before starting the Winstrol (winny). Flaxseed oil is better to take in liquid form because you have to take so many capsules to get the same dosage as the liquid. Thats just my opinion but Im sure some other ladies will join in and have some advice. Chelsea
 
Thanks for all of the info! This is so great being able to talk to all of you who have been there before. I can't tell you how much I appreciate you gals. I will start on some sort of joint supplements right away! At what bf do you think I should get down to before starting the winny?
 
I personally waited until I was at 15% for my first cycle but with a hypothyroid I dont know what is reasonable to tell you. Have you thought about asking your DR about any of the fat burners available OTC? I dont know how the ingredients may or may not effect thyroid so I would ask the DR but I would think it might be ok as long as you dont have high BP or anything else? I have been asking around recently about fat burners because Im not that knowledgable on them and the ones I have been recommended by people at my gym seem to have a lot of different ingredients so you might want to ask your DR about one or two in particular if you are interested. In the meantime if any anavar comes available you might want to try that before Winstrol (winny). It really has less side effects and a good entry for a newbie. As for the Winstrol (winny) it seems some women do great on it and some dont. Everyones different but Ive rarely heard of newbies having issues with anavar. Hopefully someone will come along and answer your BF question better than I have. Chelsea
 
chelsea, you have great advise. try what she says boone. glad that we can help. protect those joints on Winstrol (winny). you cant take too much joint supps when on Winstrol (winny). ill tell you it knocked me out of doing long cardio sessions and squats. going up and down the steps was painful too. do not let this discourage you from usiing it, start joint therapy before it hits. i started when i was in pain and it helped a little, but i was too late so i had to stop. Winstrol (winny) awesome though. sorry if im being redundant, its just that i cant stress the joint part enough.

Right now at this point in your diet and with your current stats you do not even need to consider running a cycle, much less Winstrol (winny) which is notorious for extreme water retention. As you know, NO Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) cause fat loss, Winstrol (winny) can and will harden you up but with the amount of bf% you currently have, you don't want to harden up muscle under fat.

You need to focus on a clean diet and strict cardio to lower your bodyfat% before you start any aas. You should be doing a MINIMUM of 45 minutes of cardio per day MINIMUM 5 days per week (cardio twice a day would be great). Try to do your morning cardio on an empty stomach.

When you do lower your bodyfat% Chelsea is right in that anavar would be a much better choice. Don't just go with what is easier to find or what is cheaper. This is your body you're talking about. WIth all the time and hard work you invest in your body the extra cash for a good cycle is well worth it.

i read about some female BB who get up to 50mg.

but, thats not what i was trying to convey. for the most of us who arnt BBs, i was saying to stay away from that much. unless you know your body and how it reacts.

I just got around to reading the rest of this thread since I last posted. I must sound incredibly conservative to some people but I still stick by my original suggestion of 2.5 up to 5 and no higher than 10mg if you slowly taper up. Chelsea
 
I agree that you SHOULD be very conservative when dealing with Winstrol (winny).

As far as some women bbers using 50mg ED - look at those females they make certain sacrifies for size and their sport (some of those sacrifices may be degrees of their femininity). In no way shape or form would this be a good dose for the average female.
