New to TRT/HRT

Hi, I've been reading these forums for sometime trying to take everything in here while trying to assess my own situation. I've had the "typical" low testosterone symptons for as long as I remember, but I never thought that I could suffer from it. I'm 30 year old male, 5'-7", 162lbs and roughly 15% body fat. I wrestled in high school and did BJJ for years after that and have done martial arts for 20 years. I'm a active person, even when I honestly don't want to move or do anything, I was raised to be a "grinder" I guess. I mention the above because I thought that since I was so active, had a decent physique, etc., there was no way I could have low testosterone. I was just uneducated I guess.

I recently had my blood work done by my physician and my testosterone level was 174 ng/dL (ref range is 300-1080) and my testosterone free is 42 pg/mL (ref range is 47-244). My Dr has be scheduled to see an Endocrinologist and we are discussing options.

One option that was mentioned is Omnitrope. I do not know much about the product honestly and was looking for anyone who has experience with it. I read articles and literature on the web site about it, but I'm more interested in finding people with first hand experience. Does anyone have any experience or have heard positive/negative things about Omnitrope?

I see Maximum HRT across this forum and that will be my next step as well as I explore my options. It seems the feedback for them is really good.

Is there anything else anyone would recommend?

Thank you to everyone in advance.

Welcome, I'm a newbie here too and have recently begun my testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) journey.

Based on my limited experience and given your low T number, I'm wondering if you would respond favorable - as I did - with a low starter dosage of test C. I did 100mg weekly and had a good initial response. I believe if you are low to begin with, your response will be good. Others will chime in here and share their experience.

Best wishes in your health and wellness journey.

I'm in the same boat as you. I'm 6' 180# and a marathon runner and very athletic. It took me until 41 to discover I had low T - no doctore ever thought to check my levels.

I started 80 ml E7D and feel MUCH better. Mood was my main symptom (never had libido issues). My only recommendations are to inject at minimum every week and get multiple second opinions - it's hard to find a doc with first hand knowledge in this area.

I think surprise is normal for younger males (im 31). I just recently went with 200mg every two weeks (cypionate). I am at 6 days and still feel good but am going to push for the once a week @ 100mg. I estimate that I may have had low test for almost 8 years and had no idea.

Just an FYI from personal experience. I could not find a balance with my protocol until I started pinning twice per week. Otherwise, it was a roller coaster ride.

I was in the same boat. I was a semi-pro athlete for 20 years, 9% BF, I worked out like a mad man no matter how I felt. I also have learned that most of my low T symtoms were caused by high SHBG and E2. My T was not as low as yours. Get all of your bloodwork numbers up front and keep a spreadsheet of them. Log what you take and how often as well as how you feel etc. etc. This data becomes very important becasue it's very easy to forget your previous protocol adjustments since it may takes months to find your sweet spot.

Welcome the the board.

Omnitrope is supposed to work well, but... Expensive. So the majority of us just inject.

As methos said e7d is the maximum duration that you should run. I'm kind of sensitive also, meaning that I have a sweet spot that I feel best at.

Thanks for the replies. It's all valuable information for me. I will definitely track my blood work numbers and results. I like that idea a lot.
