newbie has questions

I'm looking to start my frist cycle....I'm 24, 5'10, and 175lbs....ive been training and dieting for the past 2 years....I was able to put on about 30 pounds over these past 2 years....I feel like now i have reached the point of where my body isnt responding to anything i do....I watch my diet very well and take in 4000-5000 calories a day....my buddy is on the gear and wants me to start with him when he runs his next cycle but it seems like he overkills it and has a lack of knowledge....i was wanting to know what you all thought would be the best for me....I was thinking about just doing test e. What doesage do you guys think i should use and for how long....i have seen on here where new people have done cycles anywhere from 8-18 weeks...Personally im lookin to only do it about 8-10....also what should i use for post cycle therapy (pct)? Any input would be great.....Actually any suggestions would be great>>>
 
your first cycle should be strictly test. if you're thinking of doing test e then you should run it at about 500mg/wk for a minimum of 10-12 weeks. your post cycle therapy (pct) could be clomid 50/50/50/50 or nolv 40/40/20/20.

They pretty much covered it.

test 500mg/week split into two 250mg injections. run this for 10-12 weeks

pct clomid or nolva. nolva 40/40/20/20 or clomid 100/100/50/50 (people may say higher clomid dose, some may say lower)

have an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) on hand throughout to control bloat. take 12.5 ed or 12.5mg eod.

first off, by the looks of your screen name, you're a medic, thats cool, so am I.i think there are a few others on here as well. secondly, like what everyone else has said, stick with a test only cycle. either test cyp or test enanth. you also might want to think about running some Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) to keep your balls in check.

test only, clomid and nolva for your pct, Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) for your balls, that should be all you need.
 
hey guys thanks for the info.....also i wanted to ask after my gains how much of it should i expect to lose?

when you're off, that is when you make or break it. what i mean is, it all depends on your PCT, your workouts, and your diet. Me personally, last cycle, i kept roughly 85-90% of my gains. Had some of my BEST workouts ever during PCT.....
 
its hard to get it, it's twice as hard to keep it. with that said, if everything is on point (pct, diet, training, sleep etc.) and you don't falter, there's no reason why you shouldnt keep the 85-90% mentioned above
 
when people say gains... do they mean weight?... cuz water weight goes out the window during pct and afterwards...

i think in reality... u wont know hoe much % gains u will exactly keep but all u can do is try your best IMO... eat train sleep!!
