Ok, so I am currently debating my first cycle.
My stats are: 36 yrs old, 225 lb, 5 10', white, worked out on and off for the last 10 years, I plan on hitting the gym hard and running a good diet. I have always been a bit on the chubby side regardless of my active job position and eating fairly good eating habits. (not into sweet stuff or sodas)

I'm researching some of the cutting type gear to lean up. I am not looking to gain muscle much just tone what I have. I'm planning on lots of cardio and a light weight, lot of reps type workout.

I was thinking a trenbolone/ primobolan stack might be a good start. The primo looks pretty mild while the tren sounds like it might speed up the results.

Any thoughts on this one would be awesome. I'm a sponge for knowledge at this point so please give your thoughts.
Also, a regime and post cycle care for your thoughts on your opinion is appreciated.

I'd recommend a better diet, and no gear based off of what you said. Diet alone will get you to your goals, and gear should be used when you reach a lower body fat. A lot more sides manifest when people have a higher bf, so it would be best to wait till you drop weight naturally.

If you have your diet perfectly in check, then you can drop weight without a problem. Toss in cardio, and it will happen even quicker.

Also, test is the only thing you should ever take for your first cycle. Tren is for experienced users who have run many compounds in the past.

I have seen that test is the starter o choice but also see that it retains the fat and water more. I'm looking more for a method to harden and cut. I don't want to add bulk really. I was always a bean pole all through high school and like the more athletic and agility side. Honestly if I could loss muscle I'd not be bothered. I'm not sure of my BF % but I'm not a fat ass, more just extra belly fat. The rest of my body is really not bad at all.

I've tried the cardio game w lifting and the results just never really set in. I'm kinda jammed up on this one.
Thanks for you advice guys. I'll do some more research and more thinking on the test cycle.
More comments the better. I'd appreciate it.

Test is not the 'starter of choice', it is more like the ONLY choice for a first time user. You can drop fat easily on test if you have a clean diet, and to prevent bloating you take an Aromatase inhibitor (AI). People get super cut on test all the time, and if you limit your calories a bit more than someone who is bulking, you can drop some serious body fat.

I think you have a bit more research to do before you undertake your cycle. Also, you mention that you never saw results from lifting/cardio. There is one thing that is the same with all people, and that is weight gain and loss. So long as you have healthy hormone levels, which I am sure you do, there is no reason you can't drop bf and gain muscle from training hard (and properly). It comes down to a strict, clean diet that is based off of your personal stats. So whether you want to get big, lean, or maintain, you adjust your diet to meet your specific needs.

I would recommend talking to 3J, who is a professional nutritionist here on the board. His clients always see significant results, so long as they supply the hard work.

Ok. Thanks for your opinion and I think that makes good sense. I'll give a better try on a stricter diet and try some new excercise and lifting methods perhaps. Appreciate your time bud. Hey maybe in a few months I'll catch up with u and let u know how it's going. :)

Definitely stick around and stay active in the community here. You can learn a lot, and the people here are really cool.

At first lifting was more for exercise, and I didn't see much change. When I dedicated nearly all of my time to it that I possibly could, both in the gym, and kitchen, I began to see enormous changes. Maybe rededicate yourself to some specific goals, and make them happen.

I am new myself here, and those people will show u the right path.. Just do what they suggest..

Sup op.

The ones who tell you your diet is the weak link are giving you good advice. If you DO decide to cycle TEST MUST be in the cycle. At your age a simple test cycle is gonna work wonders. More is not always better my friend.

Diet is gonna get the fat off of you, not the juice. The test WILL add some muscle which in turn will burn more calories than your body does atm. I would lift hard and get a base I could use as kindle to light up my metabolism but to each their own.

Tren on a first cycle is an absolute NO, you will hear that time and time again. What you will also find is that Test is the only way a beginner should start. Do some more research and really it all comes down to your diet and training regimen. Test E or C is a solid start but if youre concerned about putting on some water weight look into T-prop but injections are much more frequent. Maybe look into a clen only cycle if you want something stronger than the common OTC burners. good luck
