Nolvadex and Letrozole - Gyno - Some Questions

Hey, I have been lurking on the forums and I've read plenty of good information about these two meds to help reduce or eliminate gyno but I thought I'd present my case to you all and get an opinion on whether it will help me or not.

I'm 20 years old, almost 21, and I've had saggy breasts since age 11-12. I was a little chubby growing up but once I hit puberty I became much slimmer, but still had somewhat saggy breasts. Needless to say this caused much psychological damage from being teased, feeling insecure, was frightened during swim days at school, and in my past relationship I would almost always refuse to take off my shirt even during our intimate moments. I do not believe it is real gyno because I don't feel a ball or a lump under my nipple, so I am assuming it is pseudogyno.

The past year I've done cardio 3-4 days a week (30min-1.5 hour sessions, interval training), along with lifting twice a week and stretching. I've also made important diet changes. I am 5'10 and 162 pounds. I have a little bit of a gut, but my arms and legs are skinny. This makes my body look even more disproportional and only furthered my embarrassment. I'm losing weight, but I've noticed very VERY little change in my chest fat.

I've decided that it was enough and I am too poor to afford surgery nor do I wish to have scars or other complications. Maybe in the future if this fails, but I am going to give this a go. I obtained some Nolvadex and Letrozole and I have a few questions.

1) Can I take these both at the same time or how should I take them?

2) What dosage is generally recommended to combat gyno?

3) I know these pills are taken by those who use steroids and want to prevent gyno, but I read some have reduced it anywhere from 50-80% (some completely, but I'm skeptical of that even).

4) I've also been looking at getting Vitex but will hold off till I see the results of these two. Can anyone vouch for Vitex?

I appreciate all comments and opinions expressed and I really REALLY hope this will AT THE VERY LEAST reduce the size of my breasts. It would be the biggest boost to my confidence, allow me to wear shirts without an overshirt (during summer it gets so hot, the price you pay), go swimming without worry, and be able to please my partner. Those who have had this condition know how humiliating it is. Please help!

I don't have the answer but maybe a doctor. I will say you need to be sure of what you are doing because if you lower your Estrogen to an extreme low number you will suffer many problems. So get with these guys more in the know than me.

Some side effects of Low Estrogen in Men
Poor sex drive
Fatigue
Lethargy
Skin quality diminishes
Depression
Poor sense of wellbeing & poor quality of life
Erectile dysfunction

It's very refreshing to hear you have been doing cardio and dieting to get that weight down because that is really important. Lots of guys have puberty gyno and it does reduce puffy nips and gyno

Now describe what you have?

Puffy nips? Chest fat? Is their a hard lump under your nipple?

If it's chest fat- you really can just diet and cardio. That would get rid of it in most cases
Their are some protocols out their that involve nolva or letro but it's a specific science or the rebound will leave you where you were

Further some may advise to get blood work don because it does answer some questions. But it can be difficult. Answer these questions and see what we can do

i would get blood work and also understand that your type of gyno in most cases would need ot be cut out to be removed... sorry. but it may shrink a bit with Ralox.. DONT use LETRO or an AI off cycle to crash estrogen in hopes of shrinking gyno, its very bad for you and if estrogen levels are fine now, its a bit pointless when you could use an SERM like ralox.

you are also veyr young and I would not touch anything hormonal, not even a SERM. Talk to doc first man.
Good luck!

Well I heard you're supposed to get rid of pubertal gyno by age 18 or around there - I hit puberty kinda early (around 12 years old) and that is when I noticed them. I believe this is from a hormonal imbalance and am willing to try and test to see if it is.

The only side affects I've read about is low libido and dry joints. Is there something else that I should be aware of? When I obtained these I was under the impression if they did nothing than I will just suffer a couple weeks of symptoms and then perhaps maybe consider surgery...but I am pretty set on not getting surgery. I simply do not have that kind of money even if I made a monthly payment plan I plan on going to an expensive college in two months and will need all my monthly income to support an adequate living standard.

Ok. Also, with liquid letrozole, it doesn't say the measurement on the little droplet thing - how much is in one drop usually? It is 2.5mg/ml.

But you did. All the advice given to you specifically said DO NOT USE LETRO.

OP, buddy, we all know 20x more than u. Take our dam advice.

I'd be on 60mg raloxifine and 25mg of AROMASIN a day til things get better.

It may take 4 months. No way to tell exactly. If ur estrogen gets too low drop to 12.5 mg a day of aromasin.

Wow man, get a clue.

Will do. I stopped taking Letro. I took it for one day. Took 20mg Nolva just in case there is an estro rebound. Will look into raloxifine and aromasin. Good chance this could help?

Go see a doctor. For you know, you have psuedo-gyno in which case medications will not do anything and may even harm you.
