oatmeal with protein powder

I usually take a protein drink first thing in the morning..
is it ok to have oatmeal at the same time or should i wait 1 hr before having breakfast(oats)
?
 
the morning is the best time to get a large surplus of calories, which give you energy throughout the day so that you perform your best in the weight room or when performing various other physical activities. Oatmeal is perfect to start the day along with a gainer shaker or a simple Whey blend. Add some fruit in there and youve got all the energy you need for the entire day or Pre workout :) gd luck
