Omega-3 fish oils -- FML -- may dramatically increase odds of prostate cancer

Personally, I'm going to need to see some additional research. The recommendation isn't just against daily doses of Omega-3's derived from fish oil, they are indicating having more than one or two servings of fish a week can dramatically increase the risk of prostate cancer. If this were the case I would think the multitude of cultures around the world the subsist primarily on fish would be nearly extinct, or at the very least would have a much higher mortality rate from prostate cancer in males.

There's already a thread on this. It's been debunked and there's no need to stop taking your fish oil or stop eating fish. Crappy scientific method at its finest. "Let's look at guys that have prostate cancer and see what they're taking!" "Eegads, they're taking omega 3's, that MUST cause prostate cancer!" Ugghh.

Couldn't have said it better...
