Opinion's on DC style for ectomorph

i presonaly have not done this type of training because it isn't for my goals. but i have put some of my clients on DC training and they have made some impressive gains. but keep in mind that your diet is almost more important than your training style.

What are your goals then?

i'm a powerlifter. so i train with using a westside method which is, of course, aimed towards power and not size.

its great for size. theres a lot of bodybuilders out there who got their start with powerlifting and continue to implement powerlifting into their training program.
usualy when people come to me saying they want big arms, ripped abs, etc.., i put them on a DC style training program. but if they just want mass and dont care for what i call "pretty/beach muscle" then i put them on more of power program.
so what are you're goals? do you want mass and willing to work on pretty muscle later, or do you want pretty mucle now?

Both, or a happy-median(If pssible).... I have good genetics, so if i just put the "size/bulk" on it will acomplish this with decent cardio/diet. Just started reps of 3-5 for everything(gonna give it 90 days) The only thing i might change, is wether or not going to a 1-set whole body/3x week versus a 3day split, or throw in a drop set once in a while.
? opinions welcome

3 day split should do you fine then every few weeks do drop sets. i even do drop sets when i'm training for a meet to help out with muscle endurance and preventing plateaus. i would also recomend trying Wendlers 5/3/1 for 8-12 weeks. most of the guys a train with tend to put on some good mass when they do that program.
