This is my first post. I promised myself i would read as much as i could incase the answer had been written, but as yet cant find anything. If someone has posted can you please provide the link.

Basically i had a near fatal accident falling off a roof @ work in 2009. My right wrist snapped back to front and after having had 2 surgeries, i have been left with a very aggressive form of osteoarthritis. I have been back training since october 2011 and so far have lost 3 stone. Ive been looking into steroids for a while now after hearing/reading HGH can help brittle bones. Has any 1 with a similar injury tried it? Im taking multi vitamins and glucosamine everyday which works a little but the pain is still there. Im due for my next surgery this year which will remove the problem.

I do have many more questions about the cycle im thinking of going on. But at the moment with the wealth of info on this site i think ill continue research before posting repeated questions.

You have to be very careful and consider the side effects along with the benefits. What is your age? Life style? How healthy are you?

And I'm a bit lost, if you are due for surgery to remove the problem, I'm lost as into why you would want to try steroids. Could you elaborate more on your situation?

If you want pain relief, tyenol should help if not, you can try NSAIDs (advil, etc.) - or prescription NSAIDs. Have you talked to your doctor about this?
