I have pinned now 100mg a week for 5 weeks. If I want to stop TRT(personal reasons) what is a good protocol for restart? Nolva? hcg? etc. I am 44 years old. Thanks

I agree with Megatron28, talk to your doc first.

However, I have had a past doc - and one that was supposedly "up on the latest with TRT" tell me that anytime I wanted to stop TRT, I should just stop and everything would come back on its own...which, IMHO is a bad idea.

Lol....yes I have to agree that that may sound like a bad idea. I am 44, I don't think I will be able to recover they way. But I will discuss with doc. The only problem with that is he has me on gel but I didn't continue with gel and went to shots on my own.

The only difference should be the timing of when you start PCT after stopping the exogenous testosterone. It will take longer for injections to clear your body than a gel would have.

Why do you want to stop TRT?

Well Id talk to doc as well but if I was doing it on my own I would run 1000 ius hcg e3d for around a month and then id do a clomid/nolva pct but for 6 weeks instead of 4. Start PCT 3 days after your last HCG shot.
Just some initial thoughts.

if you need hrt, i would stick with it to have a healthier longer life, and feel better. IMO
Talk to doc and tell him u want shots not creams.

Talk to IMT. They have some great restart protocols that they can share with you. I personally did a restart and started with 5 weeks of HCG, then 4 days after the HCG started clomid for a month. Went well for me but I am a bit younger than you.

The biggest mistake guys make when trying to do a restart is not doing enough HCG, for long enough. Thats the most important part.
