Planet fitness---in the news again

I can teel you at mine they don't want yelling and slamming of weights but grunting and clinking or thumping a weight isn't something they'd make a peep about.

Perhaps the gym culture in the USA is different to Australia. Over here, grunting and weight dropping are just seen as attention seeking.

I've trained at gyms where BBers and fighters are training. They tend to be focussed and keep the noise and fuss down to a minimum. Now and then someone may let out an involuntary grunt or groan or something or might not be able to hold onto a weight. That's ging to happen if you're pushing yourself.

I've also been to a gym where I heard loud groaning coming from within the gym and I went over to have a look, assuming there was some freak pushing a massive weight. Wrong. It was some little guy with a bandana who was grunting during his warm up. He even dropped the weights at the end of the set. Wanker. It sounded like he was auditioning for a porno.

I see Ronnie train on Youtube and it is seriously freaky. Out of this world. But I really wish he would just shut up. It would be cooler if he just did it and moved on. But again, it is probably okay to carry on like that in his gym. I don't reckon anyone is going to be asking him to keep it down.

Just because some of you guys don't grunt doesn't mean that other people don't. This is an individual thing, and it's not a big deal.

I had a track coach that used to encourage us to scream when shot putting. He insisted it made a difference.....something about using all your energy.

But for people to say it isn't necessary........at times I have to. Maybe some don't, but I have to wonder how hard they are really exerting themselves.

There is no reason to grunt, just like there is no reason to drop dumbells; and no you're not gonna hurt yourself if you know how to put down 120lbs dumbells the right way.
If I can dumbell press 120lbs on a bench and not drop the dumbells after I'm done and not grunt, then I'm sure the next pussy next to me can also do the same. :)

Do you want a fucking cookie for not dropping the 120's....and as for grunting, there are people who are ridiculously loud and its uncalled for. And as for "no reason for grunting". Prove it.

There is nothing more annoying then some cracker who's grunting while working out, no reason for that. It's like having some cracker walk around and fart around the gym because he can.

I highly doubt she is walking around like tim the tool man taylor. And the noise from my ass is quite different than the noise from my mouth.
