Please critique 2nd cycle, lean bulk almost underway

28 years old, 1 prior cycle (Test E @ 500mg ew) - this was ~15 months ago
Gained ~25 lbs, got an injury, lost majority of gains
Decided to got on a natural cut to begin my second cycle very lean, going for a very lean/dry bulk this time around
Currently sitting at ~170 lbs, ~8% bf
4 years training experience
Used 3j first time around, diet should be on point
Should be getting the rest of my cycle materials w/i the next week here, have a bachelor party this weekend so going to drink for the last time before cycle, planning to begin next Monday

wk 1-12 Test Prop @ 170mg eod
wk 1-12 Aromasin @ 6.25mg eod (will adjust as needed)
wk 1-12 HCG @ 500IU ew (250IU each Monday and Thursday) - last time around I only did an HCG blast leading up to PCT, if I run 500IU ew for the whole cycle can I skip the blast?
wk 3-12 Anavar @ 75mg ed (will reasses according to BW results beginning of wk 8)
wk 3-16 NAC @ 1500mg ed

PCT begins 3 days post final pin
Clomid 50/50/50/50
Nolva 40/40/20/20

Does everything look g2g? Please critique if anything looks incorrect.
 
Looks good. Maybe wait a week after last pin to start PCT. Run the hCG up until PCT starts.

you can skip the hCG blast at the end if you run it the whole cycle like you have shown.

does he have to run the aromasin up until pct starts as-well or it doesn't matter because he will be running hcg until pct time starts?
 
Aromasin isn't an every other day type of ai. It needs to be taken daily due to the half life. You can take Arimidex every other day or every third day.

Yes I have read that in regard to the Aromasin, however I feel that I may have overdone it last time so I want to start with the minimum possible dose. Should I bump it to 6.25mg ed? Also, with prop should I begin my ai the day of first pin? I know with E I waited 1wk to begin. My main goal here is to be sure I don't tank estro, I had no estro related sides last run unless bacne counts (no acne otherwise).

Also do we start hcg day of first pin with prop or is this delayed at all too?
 
Start them all Day 1. Backne counts.

Ty mega, well I had quite a bit of it by the end of last run. However, I didn't have it from the start I want to say it sprang up around week 6. And I thought i may have been taking too much Aromasin as I was up to 25mg ed or at least eod. If bacne starts to form this time around is that a sure signal to up the ai?

You know the only way to tell is by getting blood work. Do a cycle right or don't do it at all. See my signature below for how to get blood work without going through a doc.

I used private md pre,mid, and post cycle last time. Plan to again, however, on the female panel which is what I've always used, I don't believe we can infer much from the result as I believe it's out of range
 
8% is tough, but not that tough at 170lbs ;)

over 12 weeks, if your diet is good, gaining 5lbs and staying at the same bf% is an attainable goal... don't be thinkin you're gonna gain something silly like 20lbs of lean mass in 12 wks, cuz that wouldn't be reality

slow and steady, if you could get up to 200lbs over 2 years while maintaining a bf% under 10%, that would be impressive

like mentioned above, waiting a week after last pin to begin PCT will be more effective... and run the aromasin 6.25mg ed from week 1 til 3 days before PCT begins

how did your E2 look on your last cycle when you were getting backne?

I've seen a lot of differing opinions on how much lean tissue can be gained in a 12 week cycle, obviously 20 is out of the question but only 5? In that case should I just go ahead and bulk like 500 cal over maintenance daily? I definitely want to maintain my leaness as much as possible even if it means gaining a little less overall. A little fat gain is obviously inevitable but I'm trying to bulk as lean and dry as possible here. For the purpose of adjusting intake as I progress throughout the cycle, how much scale weight should I be shooting for per week?

After the first month where you may increase more quickly, if you are adding >2lbs/wk it's very likely not all going to be muscle.

From week four onwards, 1-1.5lbs per week of muscle would be VERY good.

I'm no genius, but if calories are not above maintenance you won't gain a thing... If your goal is lean, dry gains like you mentioned, gaining 1/2lb per week would be very successful... so that's not far off the 5lbs I talked about above

gaining quality muscle takes many, many years... it's not a fluke that most guys on the Olympia stage are over 35 years old, it's just how long it takes

at 5'10" 170lbs, you are 10+ years away from being near bodybuilder size... make your goals attainable, reach them, then make new ones
